In a large bowl, coat strawberries with sugar. Set aside for at least 20 minutes to allow the sugar to draw out the juices.
Add strawberry mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
Strain the strawberry pureé through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
To the pitcher, add the orange juice, non-alcoholic Rosé, and simple syrup (if using).
Stir until combined, and add about half of your sliced strawberries.
Chill sangria for at least 4 hours before serving.
- I got around 4 servings out of this, but this will depend on your glass sizes! My glasses are 14oz.
- The simple syrup is optional, if you like your sangria sweeter. You can buy this premade, or make your own - just heat 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar together on the stove until the sugar is dissolved. Then, remove from heat and cool.
- To make strawberry simple syrup - Heat 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1 cup sliced strawberries over medium-high heat until it just starts to boil. Lower the heat and simmer for around 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temp. Strain the strawberries before transferring mixture to a jar. Refrigerate.
