Am i the only one who struggles with narrow squats? I just can’t get low at all. Also my legs almost died, not my core :/
That’s ok! Keep working on your narrow squats and you’ll eventually improve your ankle and knee mobility, and glute strength. And this workout is cardio + core, so chances are you will feel it in your legs, too! 🙂
After 10+ years of blogilates … Watches Casey jumping into squat … goes back to mountain climber 🤷♀️😝💯
I really don’t understand how all that plank jumping and knee squat hopping is suppose to be apartment friendly. Especially since this is part of a beginners calendar and it seems you must be a bit advanced to be able to jump ‘lightly’. My whole floor shook with one jump so I had to just make up my own random move/modification. 🙁
More modifications. It hurt my knees, my lower back and activated the problem I’ve had since I broke my foot.
The last two moves were terrible on my knees. Modifications would have been helpful.
I did nothing like what you just did. But I tried.
Last 2 moves, knees …not an option. Sooo I did standing knee to elbows the entire time.
How is this ab-focused? I can barely feel my core, but my thighs feel like they’re gonna burst! x.x
Just CANNOT do the last move! I couldnt bring myself up at all, needed support! Please tell me it gets easier?
WOWOWOWOWOWOW this was hard!!! Cassey I died a moment there! 🔥
Beautiful room, Cassey – I’ve never seen that one before in your videos. Great work-out but that last move is surely impossible?! I think I could read all those books in your library quicker than I could master that move!
wow that one was hard for me but it felt so good once i finished! though, i really could not do that very last move LOL
I’m sure I didn’t do the last move like it’s supposed to be done, but doing it was so much fun, thank you!
Doing this video a month later, still fun. 😀
That LAST MOVE WAS INSANE!! i thought i wasn’t gonna make it! But i trieddddd and i did it!! My god, it was instense!!
My day was fine until this torture brightens it. Loved it.
Man my core is SO weak. Even in the last week of the beginners calendar I really can’t even do a single pull over. I can barely do a crunch properly. I’m a runner and I’m convinced my weak core is one of the main reasons for recurring injuries but I feel like I need a core program that’s even easier than the beginner blogilates calendars (for the record the leg stuff in this calendar is probably a bit easy for me and the arm bits are just right). If anyone has suggestions I’d love to hear them.
My core strength also falls short often, but sometime little challenges help. Try doing the 30 day ab challenge. It’s not as intense as the 100 ab challenge, but helps build strength.
That last move was ridiculous!! Can’t wait to do them again so they start getting a little easier 🙂
OMG! The last move looked really crazy but I was able to do them. I pray I don’t have to do that again! Ever!
That last move???!!! No way I could do it!
oh my gosh how do you do the last move!!!! I tried it like 5 times and fell flat on my face :/
I’m doing the June Calendar but sadly couldn’t do most of this exercises because one of my knees hurt since I did squats a few days ago. Maybe I did it wrong. But I hope I will be able to do all the exercises of the next video!
I love the first song! It reminds me of the beginner calendar’s first video! Happy memories.
This was the first video I didn’t have to stop, finally some progress!! Make me feel great! 😀
The first song is just so annoying 😀 But love the workout 🙂
Enjoy these apartment friendly WOs.
I did the last move and hurt my knee so bad I had to rest for a week
YOUR New web is beautifull but not as user frindly as befor, ofcourse its my personal openion
I agree! It’s super cute, but it’s also hard now to navigate within the videos – like to skip ahead or go back and repeat. Also, I miss the printable work out calendars. But thank you so much for making it so lovely and I like the logging in/registering element – like forming a community!
You can still skip ahead and go back, you just need to place the vid to the bottom line of the site, then play it and you’ll be able to catch the full screen button. That’s what I’ve been doing to skip and such 😉
I don’t understand what you mean by “place the vid to the bottom line of the site”. I would like to pause, fast forward, etc. and feel your directions could be helpful. Please elaborate.
Thanks
I mean that if you slide the video almost touching the bottom line (if you slide down too much the video gets cut off) and click play, you’ll be able to see like half of the option bar on the video. But you can just as well click double-click the video to make it full-screen, then there’s no problem with pausing, fast forwarding and repeating etc. You can also click space key to pause 😉
You can also double-click the video to access the full-screen mode where you can skip and pause etc.
It took me like a day to get used to the new interface. But now i love it. Just right click on the video and choose “open in a new tab” This way you don’t have to go back and forth between videos.
Hope that was helpful.
You can also use the key shortcut: hold the left Ctrl+mouse click and you don’t have to right click every time.
You can still get the printable calendar! If you go to the bottom of the monthly calendar screen there is a banner that you can click on to download a printable version.
the printable isn’t url linked anymore, so you’d have to search for each youtube video manually.
Hi there- has anyone tried Piit? I have questions but can’t find a way to submit them. Does anyone know if the videos are 28 minutes long, or are they multiple short videos like blogilates?
You watch the same video four times in a row.
its about 7 mins with four repetitions. 50 sec intervals of moves repeated.
Wow, the last jumps were just impossible for someone with my knees… And I really likes this series, since it’s been so low impact 🙁 is there a modification?
I think the knee walk squat is the modification, that’s why Cassey said “you can keep doing what we just did or you could make it more intense” before going to the knee hop squats 🙂 So keep “walking” it until you get stronger 😉
Cassey, I loved this video. I had already done my cardio for the day, and was so excited to see it that I did this video plus the arms and abs I had planned on! It was great and very intense. Thank you so much!
