Fake Weight Loss Stories

Fake Weight Loss Stories

Uhhhhhh.

I just woke up to a slew of comments on facebook after posting the Hannah POPstar of the Week story.

MAJOR.

DRAMA.

What.

For those of you who did not read the story below, I just deleted it. Last night “Hannah” tweeted me a before and after pic of herself claiming that she lost over 120 lbs and tagging it #OMGOctober. I was running a little contest at the time for free fitness journals if anyone tweeted me a pic that could make me go OMG! Well, I was stunned, super happy, and direct messaged her back  saying congrats and asking if she could send me her inspirational story.

I started instagramming the pics she sent me and collaged it for facebook. It was the wee hours of the morning when I began sifting through the comments and noticed that there was A LOT of controversy over whether this was even the same person or not. At the time, I was like, “Of course this was real! Hannah tweeted me herself, sent me pics, and we exchanged some very nice emails. No POPster would ever lie about a weight loss journey! That’s insane. Time for bed!”

When I opened my eyes today around 9am – it was a wake up call I will never forget.

You can’t trust everyone.

And I know most of you don’t know me on a super personal level, but I tend to trust what people tell me because I have faith in the fact that you’d act responsibly as would I. When people ask me a question, I give a straight answer. When I ask a question, I expect you to do the same. Unfortunately, not everyone works like that. I assumed that since we are a close-knit community of POPsters working out together all over the world that we’d have some kind of special relationship that would prevent matters like this. In fact, I never once even thought this could happen! EVER.

I really am sitting here in my bed with my laptop on my pillow pretty upset and overwhelmed.

Why?

Well firstly, I was tricked. I feel betrayed. Secondly, I take responsibility for sharing this “fake story” with thousands of you guys. Therefore also fooling thousands of you guys. So I’m sorry. Thirdly, the girl whose picture was used came forward and said she was hurt. Which made me feel horrible. Fourthly, reading all of the comments saying that I “knew” this was a fraud and that I should be ashamed of myself and that “whoever is running this website” shouldn’t be so “sloppy” with her work…omg…(sorry this is now turning into a feeling post)…I started crying. Because I put a lot of love and effort into everything I do. A lot.

Guys, I don’t really know what to say except that this is just me running this blog (that’s why I don’t sleep) and I have so much faith and love for you guys that I don’t question what you write to me. I take it as truth. I mean how can I not? Do I really just write back and be like “Oh and btw, this isn’t a fake weight loss story right? Just checking! 🙂 Congrats on your success if it’s true!”

I don’t have a team of people doing background checks and managing what I post – it is just me. And today I have learned that I have to be careful. As a blogger, I hold a lot of responsibility in my hands when I relay information and well, I didn’t see this coming. AT. ALL.

So I guess I need to quickly get out of this fantasy world of believing what everyone tells me and do more investigation before I post. Thanks to everyone who teamed up on facebook to bring the controversy to light. I really appreciate the effort to seek truth.

As of now, I do not know who “Hannah” really is. She did not email me back. She deleted her twitter account. And is now gone from the face of the interwebs as far as I know.

I really don’t understand why anyone would post a fake weight loss story. What does that do for you? I don’t know the girl (or guy?) behind the Hannah computer, but whoever you are, I want you to know that I don’t blame you for doing any of this because I believe everyone has a background story as to why they act they way they do, I just ask that you do not do this again. Especially because it not only hurts you, but it hurts A TON of other people. Best of luck to you.

And to the people in the collages I posted on facebook (now deleted) I am sorry your pics were used. I am happy that one of our POPsters noticed that one of the pics was a pic of her friend Melissa Marchetti. To Melissa, I apologize if any negative feelings were felt as a result of all this. I am  so proud of you for your weight loss – I know it is a tough journey – but such a rewarding one. If any of you would like to read Melissa’s weight loss story, you can see it here on MyFitnessPal.

Yeah, so I am pretty shocked still. It’s sad that now I have to look at every tweet, comment, and email with a different eye. A cautious, investigating eye. But I guess it’s good that we all learned TOGETHER and saw TOGETHER what can happen here on the internet. No worries though, I totally love you, and have faith in all of you.

I have some inspirational stories lined up and will try to get those up this week for you. And I’ve actually met both of these POPsters in real life. HOW’S THAT FOR A BACKGROUND CHECK!!???

Hope you’re all having a fabulous day! If you would like to meet some members of the wonderful Blogilates Community, please take a look at the stories below:

I cannot even believe the transformation. I have tried to lose weight many times in the past. Some things were somewhat successful, but it just seemed that I kept hitting a brick wall over the last year or so. I was pretty desperate by the time I made the choice to try this program what helped me lose 21 pounds in about 6 weeks

Hi Cassey! I love you and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU DO!
You inspire me SO much and I wouldn’t feel motivated to work out at all if it wasnt for you 🙂

  4. I think what you posted made a ton of sense. However, think about this, what if you were to
write a awesome post title? I am not suggesting your
content isn’t solid., but what if you added something to possibly get
a person’s attention? I mean Fake Weight Loss Stories is kinda vanilla.
You should look at Yahoo’s home page and note how they write article headlines to grab people
interested. You might add a video or a related picture or two to get readers excited about what you’ve written.
In my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.

The internet is a dark place sometimes. I’ve had people add my friends on facebook – sent them naked pics of girls who look similar to me (but blurry-ish) and said it was me etc. I was so ashamed because it looked as if it was real. I would go to uni and people would stare .. and friends who’ve always known me started to question me. Work colleagues were shocked. I wanted to bury my head in a hole and never come out again.

It’s a bit off topic – but I just wanted to say that we all become victims of the people who hide behind a computer screen at times. It’s sad. But we all get through it. ^_^ Because they’re just cowards.

  6. Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using?
I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult
    time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution
and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most
blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

  7. Janet says:

    Hey Cassey,
I don’t know if anyones already suggested this but why don’t you ask people who send in their inspirational stories to take a picture of them holding a sign with their name, age and “blogilates” written on so you know it’s really them? I don’t understand why someone would take advantage of your good nature like this but there’s a lot of strange people on the internet!
I’m just starting out on my pop pilates journey and I find the inspirational stories, along with your great videos and advice really encouraing. xxx

  8. Thank you for some other amazing write-up. The site more may just any one have that kind of details in these a healthy way associated with publishing? I have a presentation pursuing 7 days, that i’m at the search for such information and facts.

And of course, thank you for your effort!

  10. Mette Petersen says:

This truly is horrible that someone would make this up but of course it is not your fault.
Not knowing you well at all but still it is obvious that you’re an incredibly positive person who believes in the best in everyone. Unfortunately not everyone is that trustworthy – a big shame.

You are a fantastic instructor who has help me trim up my body through your videos

    Huge fan

  12. Excellent pieces. Keep posting such kind of info on your page.
    Im really impressed by it.
Hi there, You’ve done a great job. I’ll certainly digg it and in my opinion
recommend to my friends. I’m sure they’ll be benefited from this website.

  13. Alexa says:

It’s not your fault Cassie!!!! The girl shouldn’t have told you the fake story, the person should be ashamed of there selves, but like you said there’s probably a background story of why that person did it. I love you Cassie and i’m glad you do all these fun workouts on youtube!!!! See you at your next work out video !! Bye!! <33

  14. Samantha says:

First of all I am new and I think your awesome! Everyone makes mistakes and its a good trait to want to look for the good in people. I found you on Instagram and live strong women, while trying to find a workout best suited for the goal I set for myself. Being a beginner its hard to figure out in what direction to go in or how to even start! Keep doing what your doing because your workouts are great and you are a beautiful person! Inside and out and it’s nice that you also not only blog about being healthy and exercise but you give of yourself too! And I love your motivational shirts 🙂

  15. shivi_the_sheep@live.com.au says:

Cannot believe started to accuse you of being behind this! What a bunch of a-holes! Dw cassey, those people are few and far between! And as for Hannah… Grrrr she makes me mad but I’m sure she is dealing with her own hardships and insecurities, I feel sorry for her. Love you- chin up!

  16. Jennifer says:

I don’t understand what someone will get from these rubbish fake weight loss stories. Here Cassey learned a lesson and so I had. It’s really hard to believe such stories now.

  17. Aurora says:

Feel so sorry for you cassie 🙁

  18. Stina says:

Don’t lose faith in us! We love what you do and I hope you only absorb all the positive things that are said about you, because you really are an amazing person! Anyone can make mistakes, and the people you should care about understand this.

    Lots of love from Sweden,
    Stina

  19. Voula says:

That sucked. But it’s cool how you see everything positive and you don’t start blaming people. I try to do the same. You are such an inspiration and we all appreciate how much you share with us. I personally couldn’t imagine being that fit and strong for free before I found the blogilates community!

As for why someone would do that, people have issues and someone maybe thought this would be funny. Or that they would get back at someone by doing that. Anyway, what’s done is done and you shouldn’t worry about it.

Keep up the great work you’re doing for us! By the way, when is the app coming out?

  20. Olivia says:

Woah, Cassey, this is so not your fault! I cannot believe people thought you would do this on purpose!! You are the sweetest most honest person on the internet 🙂

I am sending you a ginormous bear hug across the Atlantic and ordering you to turn that frown upside down. It may also cheer you up to know that my boyfriend did your Gangnam Style vid with me – it was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life, so thankyou for that hehe!

    xxx

  21. Shirley says:

I just wanted to leave a comment and say u r awesome and incredible!:) everyone makes mistakes and thats what makes them grow. I’m very touched with ur trusting and honest personalty, and please dont lose it with a faith in people cus thats ur gift as well as a gift to others. You encounter different people in your life with all sort of things positively and negatively but they make u become yourself:) Be the type of person you want to meet or you become the person you dont like, haha! Keep up ur work!<3<3

  22. Elise says:

    Wow, that is insane-balls.

You did nothing wrong hun, forget about it. You are an amazing, wonderful, kind and generous woman who gives so much to this community. There’ll always be people out there who want to take something from you, but there’s more who want to give back to you.

You are a strong and intelligent woman for focussing on that.

    You go girl! Love ya!

    Elise xx

  23. Tanya Frey says:

It is pathetic that someone did this form of trolling to you and I am really sorry you have to question your community of followers. The internet is not the place where only truth lays in wait and I am bitter against this person who ruined your outlook. I hope you do not become over stressed by this incident and I also hope you have not lost some trust in the rest of us. Personally I have not posted often and I do not know if you will read this but it is very important to me that you remain/become a stronger person. You are an amazing woman and I know there will be so many more women and men looking for a person to look up too and you are one of the best (which in itself can be hard and you do not have to choose to be that person). Have a great, well-rested, and harmlessly busy October Cassey.

    Sincerely Tanya Frey/yammabubble

  24. Yuu says:

cassey, i love you no matter what. don’t mind them. you are a beautiful person, inside & out. i just found your youtube channel 3 weeks ago, i knew then that you are a hardworking person. creating the calendar isn’t a joke. creating videos and maintaining a blog by yourself is never easy. you’re work is NEVER sloppy. you’re even talking to us through your videos. we work out with you and even though we can see that you’re already tired, you can still manage to smile and say DON’T STOP. you’re providing us everything. i’ve tried a lot of personal trainers but none of them worked as great as you, none of them gave me the undying motivation like you do. keep up the good work, cassey. we’re at your back. thank you for everything! 🙂

ps; i’m currently loving the banana pancake 🙂

  25. Catt says:

Cassey, you’re beautiful and amazing and just simply put, a jar full of delight. The way you handled this situation increases my respect and love for you. Take it lighter as we move on, and continue to send positive thoughts to “Hannah,” as I know it’ll be what heals any emotional wounds for you.
Love all the way! I’ll be giving you my real success story soon 🙂
    I love you!
    -Catt

    1. Liz @ Southern Charm says:

I agree. I appreciate how you responded to the situation. Love you!

  26. Erica says:

    Cassey,

We appreciate all the hard work you do 🙂 The nay-sayers can complain all they want, but the truth is, they have absolutely NOTHING to really say. What you do, what you’ve been investing yourself in – on this website, in your life – is all because you want people to be healthier, feel more fit, and improve their lives, done out of the goodness in your heart. “Sloppy”? Puhh-lease! I feel pretty confident whoever said that is not some NASA software engineer, so they should maybe cool their jets! 🙂 You rock.
Besides, you’ve taught thousands of people to both love and hate burpees – that is the work of a true genius! <3

Don't sweat for the small stuff – just sweat for the workouts! :]

    Much love and many thanks,
    Erica

  27. Jeanette says:

I happened to join your blog & Facebook page on the day you posted the unfortunate Hannah story. Prior to joining, I had a good feeling about you as a person based on your personality while enjoying the videos on YouTube (which is why I joined your blog and liked you on Facebook). All that to say that when I read the Hannah story and saw the aftermath and how professionally and kindlly you dealt with it, (complete with an unnecessary apology, from my point of view) it makes me like you even more as a person and convinces me that I joined a community with good hearts run by a person with a great heart. Thank you for doing what you do and being an inspiration to all of us. And PS – my tummy’s already looking flatter and stronger after a mere two weeks of your videos!! 🙂

  28. Anna says:

    Cassey,

We have your back. Plain and simple. When you tell us to keep pushing and keep going, it pulls us through. And now, please let all of our positive words be what pulls you through. We love you…for all that you have done for us and for all that you continue to do. Consider this experience a set of extreme burpees haha. They suck, but you know in the end that you are better off because you got through them…and you did it with a smile.

    Love ya,
    Anna

  29. Arely Morales says:

Cassey… I just wanted to thank you for all the things you do for us, I really appreciate your efforts, It’s really sad to hear all of this, just remember that things happen for a reason, and I’m pretty sure that all of this is just gonna make you stronger. You are an amazing girl. you are a blessing in our lives 🙂 <3 <3 <3 or at least in my life, thanks for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    you Rock n__n'

  30. Danny-J says:

    Cassey!
ugh!! what is wrong with people! I know that must have really upset you (well obviously) all you do is try to help people and try to showcase someone’s success and there’s no way you could have seen that coming. You have so much support from your fans, a huge apology really wasn’t necessary… anyone could have been duped, even with a “team”
so head up sister, and keep being you 😉

    1. sammyt says:

Just to piggyback on this (which I agree totally to): is what is there to gain from this. A question you’ve probably are asking yourself and hopefully the person behind it can get honest with themselves and figure it out.

Thanks Cassey for the time and effort you put into sharing parts of your life, exercise video, tips, and soo much more. Rather you know peps personally or not-there is many of us who care. Keep your head up hon!

  31. Suze says:

    Cassey,

Like several others, I read your blog religiously but never comment. But I felt compelled to say something today. I just feel so terrible that this happened to you. There are terrible, dishonest people out there and that is not your fault. You should not have to apologize for being who you are. The world needs more honest and trustworthy people like you, don’t change who you are because of this.

  32. Sarah says:

    Hello Cassey!
That is shocking and I can not understand how some people can just use the trust of others just like that and throw it away.

Don’t beat yourself up about what happened. It is not your fault. You were just trying to give all of us a little extra motivation and tried to show us that with hard work and determination, we can achieve our goals. It is a shame that the story ended in such a way and it will be a lesson to all of us. But please don’t think that it is your fault! It is ridiculous that people blame you, it is just not fair!

Your Blog is amazing, and I absolutely enjoy reading it and can’t believe that someone described your hard work as coming of “sloppy”. Also your workout videos are very very helpful especially as they don’t require any extra tools and you can easily do them between your study break, before or after work.

Don’t be too harsh on yourself!
    Keep smiling.
    xoxo

  33. Priyanka says:

    hi Cassey,

    please take this positively.
such things are bound to happen…it is the karma cycle.
Such things happen because the nature feels that it would act as an eye-opener.

But you are strong and you have support from all of us. Don’t take this too seriously , but seriously enough…please!
Prepare for the worst things that can happen before they actually happen. Imagine what people can do worst – everyday as a mental exercise for few minutes. Spend some time reading on internet how people betray others using the internet and available technologies. This is a sincere opinion because as you grow more, there will be foes who would act bad. You must put efforts in getting stronger.

But don’t ever feel that this world is filling with negative people… don’t fall, don’t ever give up. You have invested so much in building this community and we will be always there to support you and to give you anything we could.

    Love you Cassey.

    1. Ana Lorena Perez says:

      Hi Cassey!

Don’t feel bad girl, I would had make the same mistake as you because I also tend to trust people. Truth is it happens, not everyone is a good person. But that doesn’t mean that you should feel bad. I really think most of us (your POPsters) understand that it was a small mistake, WE LOVE YOU! you are still that sparkling motivation that makes us suffer day after day 🙂 hahaha

      take care!

      Ana Perez

  34. Nikki Finn says:

Dear Casey, I know how you feel. Believe me. As the owner of my own blog where I share my weight loss tips and translate articles from English and post my own BEFORE/AFTER pictures, I also encountered this. My own picture of my weight loss was abused. When I was searching the net, I found much more pictures, fake pictures claiming, that the lady “before” changed her body into the lady “after”. When I found my own picture next to the picture that is not mine, I felt absolutely angry. I mean, how can one do this? And the question should be WHY? WHY people do this. You can see my original post here http://mojetelo.blogspot.cz/2012/07/den-91-promena-po-trech-mesicich.html and this is what I found on the internet, that led me to the same forum you meantioned above. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=477677498918704&set=pb.420667764619678.-2207520000.1349259569&type=1&theater
Of course, I put those pictures together, to see that somebody is “having fun”. Same girl on the left, but different one on the right. I also felt like a fool, when I found one of those pictures on other forums. People told “her” how beautiful change she made, but the girl was not the one in reality who made the change. So I tried to make it clear to everyone and found the “owner” of these pictures on myfitnesspal. WHoever did it, cancel the membership there. Please, people will always act like this. We will always be surrounded with stupidity, arrogancy, liars and cheaters. Don’t let them hurt you. Say “f” word several times instead and forget about. I know you had to make it clear, but be strong :))) Sorry for my English, I’m from the Czech Republic, so I am sending greetings to you and your true fans :))) Nikki.

  35. Natalina says:

    Hi Cassey!
I’m so sorry to hear what happened, I really don’t understand why people are doing things like these…

I hope Hannah feels good about herself now and had a good time. because the thing is we give her just one tiny moment of our time, to feel compassion for her and hope that one day she will be able to grow into a loving and compassionated person herself. THERE, that was my little moment for Hannah, and now I go on with my life and never ever think of her again! 😀

I’ve personally had some issues with believing people and then being fooled by them, I’ve even been to the police to report ‘identity fraud’ because someone was pretending to be me on the internet, creating lots of problems.

But you know what, you didn’t do anything wrong,au contraire!, you have a good heart and thats why people may sometimes abuse that. I understand you will want to be more careful from now on, but please don’t change who you are, there are too little genuine people/souls on this earth and those shouldn’t be spoiled by uneducated, low on loving ability persons like Hannah. Keep on doing what you do and keep on being who you are because you’re gorgeous, beautiful, inspiring and, and, and, words lack!

Keeup up all the good work Miss. C! (even though my abs, butt and legs hate you right now…haha)

    1. Priyanka says:

      Hi Natalina,

I agree with every word of yours in the above comment.

Cassey – I would repeat a line from her comment that please don’t ever ever ever change who you are… we love you the way you are now and hope you will always be the same… A loving, caring, inspiring and a down to earth person.

You know down to earth people can inspire maximum people because maximum people love to be so instead of being celebrities.
You know I would look up to you rather than Madonna or Britney spears. Do you know why? Because there are lots of people behind them who have lifyed them so much; but you have done it all alone just with the help of a yoga mat and a camera!!
Please dont change the way you are.

      Love you!

  36. Kara says:

aww Cassey.. please don’t be upset over this! popsters know how genuine, sincere and down to earth you’re as a person. we will always be behind your back and supporting you!

    x, Kara

    Hey Cassey. 🙂
I know this is random but i just had to tell you!
I’ve been eating clean and exercising regularly. and i accidentally had a YOLO night last night. Read a good book, had a bun and some biscuits and i feel SO bad! Is this just considered a YOLO thing or? Ahhh! 🙁

  38. Danni says:

    Hey Cassey!

When I saw you mention this on instagram I was like WHAT I need to know what happened! And as I read your post, I could tell how upset you must’ve been. I trust pretty much anyone (unless they look creepy) and so when something like this happens I kind of stop and think why would they do that. And then I get angry and a little upset, so I could totally relate to your post!
At the end of the day, all that matters is that you don’t get bogged down by this, and the unnecessary negative feedback you received. Don’t be upset! You’re gorgeeeeouusssss! I mean, I keep telling all my friends and family about you and how you’re so amazing and how successful you are! I really look up to you, you inspire me! And Popstars everywhere!

    Love you Cassey! <3

  39. Denocte says:

    Cassey Honey,

I love how much you care.
I guess something like this had to happen at some point, not all people are so honest and nice like you!
Hope you’ll be feeling better soon.

You are giving so much for this community, we all love you <3

    xoxo Denocte

  40. Carina Cristina says:

Cassey, I can understand why you must feel hurt and betrayed. Being a genuine, honest and positive person yourself it must be difficult to accept as a fact that other people can be disposed to lie, cheat and decieve. But please don’t feel ashamed. You do not deserve any blame for this ordeal. You have a positive and optimistic spirit and you want to believe the best about other people. I too make the “mistake” of trusting other people easily without question or doubt. A lot of people do.

To me, your work does not come off as “sloppy”. Never. You’re hardworking, energetic and truly inspirational. The truth is, very few people can do what you do. It takes great determination and a lot of effort and it is very appreciated!

Don’t let the negative comments bring you down. Keep smiling and stay optimistic because your honest and cheerful attitude is the most beautiful thing about you and one the reasons why you’re able to inspire so many people. Much love <3

    1. C. says:

i second every bit of that post!

      1. He says:

        +1000!!! 🙂 We love you!!

  41. Alice says:

    Cassey!

You most definitely should not be feeling bad about anything right now! You are wonderful, amazing, fantastic, and awesome in so many ways. Instead of focusing on your own life 24/7, you take the time to create videos so that the rest of us can benefit. You share recipes with us, you tell us about your personal experiences, and you help us in so many different ways. Even while you go through your own life and face your own challenges and tribulations, you still manage to be a ray of sunlight in our lives, guiding us and motivating us to keep working so that we can one day be as awesome as you! I know that we take you for granted a little bit. So thank you Cassey. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for every little thing that you do for us! We LOVE you very very much <3

If anyone should be feeling bad, it should be that awful person who had the nerve to steal other people's images in order to have her little 5 seconds of glory. (Assuming she is a girl.) I hope that wherever she is, she is repenting for her misdeeds right now. To steal people's photos and then claim their glory is one thing. To then take advantage of someone as wonderful as you, Cassey, and then somehow make you into the scapegoat is a complete other thing.
Whoever "Hannah" is/was, I hope that she is very sorry for what she has done.

Don't feel bad about anything Cassey.
None of this is your fault.
Keep your head held high and just keep being the chipper, wonderful Cassey that we all know and appreciate so very much! <3

P.S. Kudos to Melissa regarding her amazing weight loss! That takes a lot of dedication and devotion. She should be very proud of the journey she has gone through! 🙂

  42. Cathy says:

Wow I’m super sorry this had to happen to you. Some people are just desperate to win something and end up acting like scumbags to get what they want. True story..

    Cathy Trails

  43. MelodyJ says:

Wow! I haven’t been on the internet for most of the day. So, I didn’t even know this was going on. I’m so sorry this happened. We all have been fooled before. All you do is learn from this and move on.

Like other have said don’t beast yourself up. You are a great person. Cassey appreciate all your hard work. You give us so much for free. We can never really repay you for all that you’ve done for us.

  44. Asmita Prasad says:

    Hey Cassey,

you don’t have to be so hard on yourself. You’ve helped a lot of people and one publicity seeker cannot take your achievements away from you. You just keep up the good work girlie. 🙂

  45. Nicole says:

Hey Cassey! Don’t beat yourself up about it! It’s not your fault for wanting to believe the best in everyone <3 people shouldn't be angry with you about making a mistake. You are still mine and a TON of other popstars inspiration and we love you 🙂

  46. Ni Ni says:

I am glad everything got sorted out Cassey, never feel bad cos what you have done for us – popstars – is something we can never give back. Motivation, Inspiration and will power to push through those hard core work outs! I love you always! Dun be too harsh on yourself !!!!

  47. Margaret Hoar says:

Aw, Cassey, It makes me so sad to hear you so hurt. You do a fabulous job of running this blog and Youtube channel. They are some of my favorite websites. Anyone can be lied to, but please keep your open, sweet, and trusting attitude. We all love you that way! <3 Get some rest.

    1. C. says:

      i totally second that!
well, except the “one of my favourite websites” because yours is my one-and-only favourite website 🙂

  48. Cat says:

Hey, don’t worry about all those people blaming you for posting this. If I was in your position I would of believed “her” aswell. I mean its such a wierd thing to fake as the person who did it isn’t really gaining anything from it. I just find the whole thing a bit strange :/ anyway chin up 🙂 lv u!! Xxx

  49. Manpreet says:

Hey Cassey. Don’t feel bad, okay? This is totally not your fault!! Besides, everyone makes mistakes. You’re still amazing Cassey to me! <3

  50. Samantha says:

Cassey, you know what? It was an honest mistake and it isn’t your fault. Whoever pulled this stunt with you should be ashamed. You’re such a sweet person and you honestly care about all of your POPsters. I’m sure most of us would never have known that it was a fake story. Mistakes happen. Just keep your head up! Love you!

  51. Nikki says:

I just found your sight a couple weeks ago and was drawn to it because of how genuine you seem. Please, do not let this one person get you down. I promise your reputation has not been tarnished.

  52. Jami Smith says:

    Dearest Cassey,
There is NO need for you to apologize for trusting people. I found your site 2 months ago from fitnessista & have been checking in daily. Your positive attitude inspires me continually. Thanks to the encouragement in your videos I believe I can become fit in my 40’s. I know you are doing your best to oversee your blog, FB page, Twitter & everything else that’s ALOT for one person! You give your absolute best daily to total strangers as you offer encouragement & teaching. You are admired & appreciated!!!!

  53. jayme says:

First time commentor on your blog. Sorry this happened to you. I am a REAL success story if you ever want to connect with me, I’d be more than happy to share my story!! I went from 190 lbs, size 14, 36% body fat to 132 lbs, 16.8% body fat and a size 2 🙂 And I didn’t starve myself!

  54. Chin up! It was an honest mistake and anyone making a big deal out if it, on your part, should be ashmed – very catty and not necessary!

  55. Ashley says:

Aww, Cassey! I’ve been morally indignant for you all day! My friend once described me as the “most sincere person she knows.” I think that you’re the same as me, and all the blogilates girls get it too! So, please don’t worry too much! I have a theory that people rush to push down beautiful, strong, successful women because they’re intimidates. I’m so sorry that they can’t get inspired by you instead, like we do. Blogilates is a community that lifts each other up, not tear each other down.

    1. blogilates says:

      i totally agree!!! love u!

  56. Jami Ryan says:

    Cassey,

I never comment, but I just had to tell you that you are awesome!! Reading this article made me so mad at this “Hannah” and then people had the gall to blame you for it. Ridiculous. I don’t even know you, but I can tell you are such an inspiring and enthusiastic person that I wish I did. Please don’t feel bad or take this drama to heart. Just see it as a lesson learned (I also tend to be rather trusting). You have helped so many people, myself included, that this situation won’t matter in the long run. Know that you’re loved and keep doing what you do, baby boo! :]

  57. Natasha says:

Aw Cassey, I’m so sorry this happened. It’s things like these that make me wonder why bad things happen to good people, and then I think that maybe it’s becuase the only people that can withstand the bad things are the good people. Don’t lose your trust in everyone, because believe it or not there are still good people out there 🙂

  58. Marilyn says:

I feel terrible that this happened and that it made you feel terrible. I just want to make sure that you know that your work is so appreciated. Thank you for all the energy you pour into other people’s lives.

  59. ash says:

I feel so bad for you Cassey! I thought that there was something a little funny in the story, because the faces didn’t really match up. But, like you, I chose to give the benefit of doubt because trust is REALLY important in a community like this. Don’t be disheartened! I’m glad that you chose to trust the person anyway, even if it turned out to be a sham. I’ve seen other fitness communities in which people are generally far too suspicious and bitchy of ANY success stories, even the ones that may be true. Distrust can be very discouraging for people who are genuinely improving themselves day after day. Keep your chin up (:

  60. marilyn says:

People should stop being so insanely annoying. Who are they to be so harse on you. This matter is just between you and the girl who is actually on the photo. You don’t have to care about the rest, this is your blog not theirs.

  61. Elena says:

It is horrible that somebody would use you like that to be that immature and attention seeking!
I definitely think like you sometimes, I like to believe in people. Plus asking somebody if it’s real or not wouldn’t really work, if it was a true story it would crush the person to hear that somebody thinks they are fake. My only suggestion is to urge people who do send before and after pictures to include some form of verification (like them holding a paper with their name on it or something). It would be a safe way of avoiding this situation again 🙂
Hopefully you never lose your ability to believe in people, we love you for it! I didn’t think for a second that you had anything to do with the fake story, I for one still believe in you! Although I have never met you I know that so much love and care into what you do for us here, you genuinely seem to care for absolute strangers and I think that is wonderful!
Thank you so much Cassey 🙂

  62. Kylie says:

fake beach 😉 lol n i bet she sent u that fake weight loss story to try n get a free shirt or something!!! i would LOVE LOVE LOOOOVEEEE to show u a b4 n after pic of myself but i didnt like pics..i was ashamed 🙁 BUT i was 150 n down to 120!!! 😀 yay!! sorry that she hurt u cassy! thats messed up!!! 🙁 but just kno there is still some of us u CAN trust! 🙂 n we love u! <3

  63. Rawan says:

Cassey, I am so sorry about what you have recently went through. Just want to let you know that never in my 24 years of living have I been motivated to workout, until I stumbled upon one of your workout videos. You are so full of energy and you have such a wonderful spirit. So thank you for being my inspiration and encouraging me to work hard. You’re great, and I can’t begin to thank you enough for all your help. Keep it up!

  64. Heather says:

    Hey,
Don’t let what people say make you sad. It was an honest mistake 🙂 you are an amazing person and you always brighten my day. 🙂

  65. Lindy says:

    Cassey,

You always come across as completely genuine. I don’t think this mishap has tarnished your reputation one bit. Plus, you have dealt with the situation in such a humble manner that your track record of being awesome is just improving.

    Thanks for your hard!

  66. Kate says:

Hey Cassey I’m not really into posting but I just had to today! I was so upset by the way people reacted to what happened. Of course it was awful that someone lied and stole pictures but the fact that you believed it to be real shows that you are human and you make mistakes like everyone else. You are a strong woman who for some reason gives us workout plans, health advice and hours of her life to the public for FREE!!!! Since I started working out I have arm muscles and I can do 3 ab videos in a row! When I started out I would do one video and die I could barely do 3 a week! Now I’m fit and happy. Every time I do a workout I smile and I’ve a super cute train like a beast workout top! Please don’t let the haters get to you if they spent more time working out than posting mean uninformed comments the world would be a much better place! And if you need time off JUST TAKE IT! Your real fans won’t mind we’re lazy all the time!!!
    Have a good day!

  67. niah says:

Everything is karma! Girl you do so much for so many one bad apple and haters is not important. A lot of people have respect and admiration and you will recieve all of your love and good intentions back! Everyone can see how kind and giving you are you have personally been a part of my life and personal transformation! Even my mom knows who you are and what you mean to me! <<<3333 everything is good we all love you !

  68. Megan says:

Oh gosh, Cassey! I’m so sorry somebody did this to you, you don’t deserve this at all! I feel like someone was trying to hurt you on purpose. For whatever reason they did that, don’t ever blame yourself because you couldn’t have known any different. You know that we love you and support you, and we’d never turn our backs on you because you keep us going! Some days I don’t work out for one reason or another but I always feel motivated because of you! My grandparents always say “chalk it up to a lesson learned”, but don’t you dare feel bad about yourself because of this! There was absolutely no reason to suspect that someone would lie about something like this..who does that? And for whoever put you down, calling you sloppy and saying super mean things, ignore them. That’s nowhere near the truth, and they’re the type of people who will say things to hurt others no matter what..the exact opposite of you! Love you Cassey, keep your head up!

  69. mariel says:

I’m so sorry that you have to post this kind of entry. I’m sure she/he was a fan of yours in a twisted mind and just wanted your attention.
Representing you in Taipei, Taiwan! I talk to my friends as if you are a friend here. It’s amazing what kind of reaction I receive when I tell them about you!

You alone, Cassey Ho, have changed so many lives including mine :]
I always look forward to see your workout videos, food posts, instagram, etc! Much appreciated and love your hard work!

    Always keep your head up!

  70. Tiffany says:

Cassey please don’t feel bad! It makes me so upset to see such a sweet girl like you be upset!

  71. Giuliana says:

I am so sorry Cassey, I can’t believe anyone would lie to you like that, especially when you put so much time and thought into Blogilates for us POPsters. We all love you and we really appreciate all that u do. 🙂
It’s weird though… I replied to “Hannah” saying congratulations because- before I knew it was a lie- I was genuinely happy for her. We had a short convo on Twitter and she kept playing along as if those were really her pictures. Who does that?!?
    Anyways, congratulations Melissa Marchetti! 🙂
Cassey stay strong, some people are crazy…

  72. GK says:

Your Smile (This is not my poem but i’ll make one in the future if I can ^_^)

When the day has been long
and the troubles last into the night
All you’ve gotta do is smile
    and everything is suddenly alright

When I feel the weight of the world
    upon my shoulders
and let things get under my skin
All you’ve gotta do is smile
and I’m ready try once again

When words or actions of another bring me down
Or if I’m feeling pretty low
All you’ve gotta do is smile
and I know I’m not alone

    When I’m hard on myself
and find it difficult to believe in me
All you’ve gotta do is smile
and I know I can accomplish anything

Your smile does so many things
    it brightens up my day
Your smile is like a promise
    that things will be okay

Your smile is all I really need
to ease fear, disappointment or doubt
    Your smile lightens my heart
and it’s something I never want to be without/人^ ‿‿^人\

  73. Cassey,

I feel for you. When we meet people on the internet we want to believe in what they are telling us. Especially when dealing with people on a personal blog like this. Sketchy spam emails are something totally different.

There isn’t much you can do beside guard yourself more. Sometimes things like this happen as a learning lesson. But we always want to believe the best in people.

It’s nice that you can offer an apology and get the support you deserve!

  74. GK says:

    Dear Cassey,
I am so so so so so so sorry for that person to post a fake story and then you hae to take responsibility. Trust me I know exactly how you feel. I am honest, sweet innocent soul girl just like u!!!! I absolutely luv your workouts and I am going to put good efforts into following your workouts Cassey u don’t have to apologize AT ALL!!!! Because it is not and I mean NOT UR FAULT!!!! U do not deserve this at all!!! I’m so sorry
“snif snif” Aw NOW I AM STARTING TO CRY!!!!! But i will and always luv u!
    /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ FOREVER!!!/人^ ‿‿^人\

  75. Leah says:

It’s not your fault at all!! Everyone on here who is a true follower loves you and we know it was a mistake and someone tricked you!
    xoxo!

  76. Willanny says:

Cassey, we your true followers love you and appreciate all the amazing work you do just for us!!! Don’t even feel bad about this! There are people in the world who just have to be here to show us how we DON’T want to be, and to make us appreciate even more what we have and who we are! You just know that unfortunately you will have to be more careful now, but again THANK YOU for all you do, you have been inspiring me every day since I found your videos for the first time, which was a year ago! <3

  77. Liz says:

    Dear Cassey,

I usually don’t comment on your blog but I really want to tell you not to blame yourself! Someone just took advantage of your beautiful spirit for whatever reason.
I just hope you keep your mind open and don’t see the bad in people everywhere.

    Much love from France,
    Liz

  78. Charlotte says:

First, I wouldn’t expect an apology from anyone who was duped. I believe you do have a tight knit community here and any “real” follower wouldn’t really attack you for posting what you believed to be the truth. I mean, seriously, how was anyone to know this story was contrived? And I’m not really certain how anyone of us was hurt (except those whose pictures were used – and they were only hurt by Hanna or Henry or whatever their real name is). I didn’t read the story but if was that inspirational, then it probably motivated people. If anything, maybe it helped someone.

Don’t worry about it and don’t dwell on it – it’ll soon be forgotten as we move onto the next drama .. like the elections 😀

  79. Carolyn says:

I am only new to blogilaties, but one thing that attracted me here was you Cassie! Your wit, spirit, enthusiasm, and the way that you help thousands of us who want to get fit and heathy- thank you!
One person took advantage of your trusting nature- that is sucky! But it doesn’t change who you are- and that is who we are following!

  80. Olivia says:

    Dear, dear Cassey,
I am heartbroken that someone would take advantage of a sweet, honest soul like you. And I know this incident will probably put you on your guard when it comes to blindly trusting what anonymous internet entities say, but I want to tell you that really you have no reason to worry. Yes, this breach of trust was a horrible thing for you and for all us Popsters, but there is a diamond hiding in this lump of coal – just look at all of the wonderful people who’ve come together to not only point out this situation and remedy it, but to smother you in love and positive karma! My best friend and I have a saying that everything happens for a reason, and I think the reason this thing happened was to prove this: that the network you created with the humble intent of sharing a passion for fitness has become a strong community whose members all help each other stay healthy in body, mind, and spirit. Don’t listen to the haters, girl. I’m pretty sure some famous intellectual (whose name has slipped my mind) once said that if there are people who hate you, it means you’re doing something worthwhile.
    Peace, Love, and Pilates <3

  81. Lisa Emery says:

I am so very glad you looked into this and made it right – for both Melissa and for you! I am one of the ones who stood up for Melissa this morning because I know how it was making her feel. I am sorry you all had to go through this and I am also sorry for “Hannah”. I hope she learned her lesson and can find peace with herself. Wonderful job!

  82. Tia says:

Do NOT blame yourself for this Cassey! They took advantage of you and your website. Not your fault at all. You are so busy doing all these amazing things and we appreciate it so much! love you! don’t beat yourself up

  83. Penny says:

Awh Cassey, I wish I could have given you a hug. I am naturally optimistic and honest aswell so I know how you feel. I will easily believe lies, because I don’t understand why people would tell them.
It doesn’t say anything bad about you though. You’re a good person and you were just very trusting of the people in this community, which you should be. You just need to keep in mind that this is still part of the internet, and people on the internet can lie as much as they want. In the future I’m sure you will take preventative measures.

  84. Ruth James says:

    Hey Cassey,

I’m sorry someone made you feel that way. I started following you because I believed in you, there was something very honest about the way you do your work and I was convinced about it.
I just wanted to let you know how much support you have, shake off any negativity, you are WAY to filled with great energy and please don’t let that type of people affect you.

Take care girl and feel better ok!! (Ruth from Dominican Republic) 🙂

  85. Julie says:

    Dear Cassey,
You are just human! I was sceptical when I saw the Hannah story on Facebook but I didn’t judge YOU or felt detrayed by you… I think that those who write mean comments are not sensitive at all, they speak their mind even it means hurting people at the same time. However, remember that real POPsters won’t stop appreciate you and your hard work.

Last but not least THANK YOU (I’ve just discovered Blogilates… I’m addicted)

  86. Courtney says:

    Cassey,
We love you! It is so horrible that someone took advantage of your trust. I am sending you all my positive energy/vibes! Everything will be okay! You have so many fans who will support you during this stressful time.

    <3
    Courtney

  87. mimmi says:

cassey! i hope u dont blame yourself too hard, its not ur fault that this happened. ofc u should be able to believe in what people say, even though it bites u back in the butt sometimes.. im a girl from sweden, and i am soooo super glad that i found ur blog! u give me so much inspiration and motivation, its unbelievable! craycray!
we love you, and you should be so proud of yourself. big hug!

  88. Catherine Norris says:

Cassey–you continue to be an inspiration to me, and I think it’s sad that you get blamed for being scammed. Keep up the positivity–I love it! xoxo Catherine

  89. Sara says:

There’s this quote I read and I think it fits you perfectly Cassey: “Each of us represents a star in Heaven. Sometimes we shine with the rest, sometimes we twinkle alone and sometimes, when we least expect it, we make someone else’s dreams come true.” You’re making my dreams come true, and expect tons of other POPsters, I can’t thank you enough how happy you’ve made me, i’m finally beginning to accept and embrace a healthy lifestyle after struggling with an ED for years. I’m in awe how you do so much for us, you are truly amazing – never forget that! So sorry that you have felt so down 🙁 … go on show us your amazing smile 😀 much love x

  90. DS says:

Wow. Some troll decides to trick Cassey, so certain people decide that Cassey is responsible for the troll’s actions? Talk about victim-blaming. Moreover, how many of us have forwarded an e-mail, or re-posted some status or other on Facebook that turned out to be a hoax?

Cassey, do not blame yourself and certainly do not apologize; you did not do anything wrong.

  91. laura s says:

    Cassey,

Sending positive vibes to the universe for you. Don’t let this take the wind out of your sails – we love you and your beautiful energy and attitude.

No beating yourself up over this…move past it and take the learning with you,k!

  92. Agne says:

    Dear Cassey,

You shouldn’t be worried at all. I know, it’s easier said than done. Come on, anything like that can happen to anybody, and it’s absolutely not your fault. We should feel sorry for these people who act like this.. they probably are very “poor” in all aspects. And I am so happy to see your attitude in this case – that you don’t judge. (You just showed us once again what a beautiful personality you are!).We never know what that person experienced in his/her life, but let’s just hope that that person has learnt a lesson..

You are our hero and we love you and support you so much!

  93. Morgan says:

Cassey, we love you! You are a wonderful and inspiring person. I can’t believe someone would do that to you and us. It’s so wrong of he or she.

  94. Vanessa says:

Girl I feel so bad for you! Please do not cry, this is not your fault! I too always thought people in the fit blogging world were all “friends’ but I guess sadly this is not the case :/
Do not stress, we all still love your blog! You handled this with such grace and class!
    Hugs

  95. Dannica says:

Oh no Cassey don’t feel bad!
You work very hard for all of us and it shows. Don’t let a few mean comments get you down!
As for the fake story I’m appalled someone could do such a horrible thing! When I read it last night I felt so inspired, especially since I hit a plateau in my fitness journey, only to hear it’s fake?!

  96. Courtney says:

Cassey! We love you! Keep your head up and keep doing what you do! You are such an inspiration to so many to live healthier lifestyles and to take pride in who they are.

    Thanks for all you do.

  97. D says:

Hey– so sorry to hear about this! People should have never got mad at YOU- we were trying to spread joy and awesomeness. Me and my sister love your workouts- we do them together (“hey, wanna blogolate today?”). Just wanted to say you are awesome, don’t worry about the bad people, karma will find them in the end 🙂

  98. Sarah says:

Cassey we all love you! Don’t worry there is no way you could’ve known xxx

  99. Lacey says:

This could have happened to any of us. It is pretty impressive that you so many fans that one person couldn’t get away with lying to you. You have lit up the internet so well that even “hannah” can’t hide in the darkest corner with her secret. You run an awesome blog, and based off the quality and quantity of stuff you post, I think you should cut yourself a break on this. There is no way you can produce such an awesome, carefree and inspiring blog if you worry about liars. Please don’t get shy. Keep doing your thing that we all love so much!

  100. Jess says:

Cassey, you have handled the whole situation with class, and it is absolutely not your fault that someone with too much time on their hands decided to do this.
It’s bizarre behaviour, frankly. You give so much to the community, and I cannot wrap my head around why someone would do this.
Now the issue has been dealt with, let’s not give this person more attention than they deserve, let’s all move on and focus on positive things, like this chocolate biscuit I’m about to eat as a reward for killing it at the gym!
    x

  101. Jessica says:

Cassie!!! Ugh!! I can believe someone did this. Most people who would do something like this is due to underground JEALOUSY and just ugliness!! Soooooo absolutely do not believe you did this intentionally. NO WORRIES!!! I with everyone else with a brain that follows you!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!! WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW CASSIE!!

  102. LeaA. says:

Cassey, I am sorry for this. You are not sloppy and we all know that. I couldn’t know that it is fake. I love you and you know that every message from me is not fake:) I will need some advices and you can take my words for real:)*

  103. Stephanie says:

Aw Cassey don’t cry :(( It’s not your fault. Whoever put that together should be ashamed of their self. It’s disrespectful the the girls in the pictures, and to you. You had no SURE way of knowing if it was the same person, you wouldn’t be like “OH WOW that doesn’t even look like the same person, are you SURE that’s you?”. Ugh. This really made me upset. Don’t worry too much about it, the blame isn’t on you, but the person who put this terrible ‘joke’ together. Stay strong, <3

  104. Joan says:

Whenever you need a “cautious, investigating eye”, I’m here! lol
    Love you!

  105. Mishy says:

I barely could breathe when I read this article. I read this article about three times now. When I got to the part where people were blaming you, my heart stopped. It seriously broke my heart when you started crying because people were calling you sloppy and other mean, untrue things! It’s honestly not your fault! So, you got pictures that were transformation pictures after working out… I mean it is an honest mistake! It’s not your fault at all! Like honestly, don’t blame yourself! I am pretty sure, along with myself, 99% of the blogilates community has your back! It’s the internet for crying out loud! You had NOOO way of knowing that was fake. It hadn’t happened before, so how were you supposed to know? I honestly feel bad for the girl whos pictures got stolen but she was upset at this Hannah chick and not you! I looked at her twitter and she even said she would write you a success story up! I mean seriously Cassey… Don’t cry! Keep your head up and always smile! Don’t let anyone bring you down! It’s not like you could have known and don’t beat yourself over it! It honestly breaks my heart to see, well read you like this. I honestly wish to meet you; So obviously that fake story didn’t change my opinion about you! You are such AN AMAZING blogger and have contributed SO MUCH in my life now. I mean, I don’t think I would have seriously tried working out before you! You have laid out everything for us. All we got to do, is well, work out! I mean how much easier could it get? Cassey, you’re an unbelievably talented girl who’s got a special gift! Don’t regret anything. Always keep moving forward. You’re beautiful and have accomplished so much! I love you Cassey and all your hard work! Thank you for being a role model to me!

  106. maartje says:

    Hi Cassey,

Don’t worry about it. Like everyone before me already said.. you ARE amazing. And putting a lot of time and effort in this. And even though it was a fake story and hurt some people’s feelings, which is not really your fault, for me something good came out of it.
Because I had a bad day today (well okay, you caught me.. bad few weeks:P) and I was at that point that you just wanna through it all away, give up. You know: stop working out, stuffing you face full with the most horrible stuff. And then I read the story.. And I realised that yes, I could give up. Let all the hard work and time I put into it be for nothing. Or I could take charge again. Make my own choice. Be a better me. And it helped. Though I didn’t want to believe that losing that amount of wait would be possible for me (.. I would be thin as a twig:P) . Living a healthier live could be.
So what did I do? I went home.. made a cup of tea. Decided I needed something comforting so sliced up some banana, put it in the oven and started the workout of today. And now I am sitting on the couch enoying a healthy yet extremely delicious banana slicethingie, ready to go to bed. So tomorrow I can face another day. Happy and on the way to a better me.

Thanks to that story. However fake. Because one thing about it is true. You inspire us. You give us handles to work with. Make live easier and defently more fun!

So put that smile back on!

    1. maartje says:

sorry wait should be weight. Really time to go to bed:)

  107. Bethany says:

Cassey, you’re such a sweet, genuine person. I was just telling my husband how much I love your videos, not only because your workouts are motivating and fun, but because you’re a real human being who believes the best in people and hopes for the best in everyone. I’m thankful for you.

  108. Jess says:

You didn’t make a mistake Cassey. It’s only human and I guess all the other guys would have believe that girl too! And first of all why people think directly that is fake, not everyone is suspicious to posts like that. Honesty is a gift that is sadly not given to everyone. It’s difficult to see the difference between fake and real on the internet because everyone can be what he wants to be. You are a wonderful person. You are a beautiful, strong and hardworking woman, as we can see in your videos you pull 200 % in! You’re so inspiring, and thats the point that some people get jealous.

  109. Maricella Macias says:

Woah, I was not expecting to read something like this. This by all means is not your fault ,all that matters is that you found out the truth and set everything straight. I don’t like to hear that you were crying Cassey! We POPsters know how much hard work you put into this site and everything that you wouldn’t purposely post someone who was a fake. All the hate can’t override all the love and positive people that this community has . WE LOVE YOU CASSEY!

  110. Lina says:

I can’t believe someone would lie/make up an weight loss story…. What’s the point in doing that? I think you handled this well and I’m really surprise that people where angry at you on facebook. I think you do a fantastic job with the Blogilates, both the website and on youtube and the community is amazing as well.
Don’t be to hard on yourself and don’t listen to the negativity!

  111. Linda says:

Hi Cassey. I’ve been following your blog/videos/facebook for a while now, and honestly, you are the best fitness guru out there. There are many other fitness gurus/youtubers, but no one has the best, the most fun workouts as you do. You are real. You are amazing. You are my inspiration. Don’t let this fake Hannah let you down. She has nothing on you…We love you, forever and always.

  112. Carolyn says:

You devote tons of time and effort to helping others. I am very new to Blogilates, and beginning my own journey to lose 120 lbs., just as “Hannah” pretended to do, and all I can say is that finding your blog and watching your videos has immensely motivated and excited me. Even though Hannah’s story was fake it doesn’t change all the good the you have done and continue to do, or all the people who truly have succeeded on their weight loss journeys with your help.
As far as everyone who is giving you a hard time goes; IGNORE THEM! That’s ridiculous. I don’t know what would provoke someone to accuse you of knowing it was fake without any evidence of that, and I also don’t think you should feel guilty that you were tricked. What are you supposed to do- run background checks and hire a P.I.? As far as I’m concerned your commitment to providing factual information was demonstrated but your prompt retraction and apology.
Just forget about this and keep doing what you do! You’re awesome! <3

  113. Lauren says:

I love your videos! They are my favorite type of workout. I send them to all of my girlfriends, my sister, my mom and post them on my Facebook! You are awesome and your workouts have made me feel healthier, happier and more confident with my body than i have ever felt in my life! You are an inspiration and motivate me every day! Instead of wasting time stealing someone else’s success story, she should spend more time doing your workouts and then maybe she could have one of her own. Keep up the good work, Cassey! Anyone who has ever done your workouts knows the success they bring! <3

  114. Maxine says:

Casey you are FANTASTIC. The fact that you still aren’t judging whoever is behind “Hannah” speaks volumes about you as a person. Obviously I don’t know you personally, but you really feel like a friend and you are certainly an inspiration, not just for working out but also for being a caring, devoted person.

Oh, and if you ever feel the need to come visit the East coast, fine by me! 🙂

  115. Sabine says:

    Dear Cassey,
How awful that this happened. I feel so bad for the girls in the pictures and for you too! I could totally understand that you wouldn’t even consider that the story might be fake. And I think it is sad that this trust is now damaged. But if it helps: we all know there are many stories exactly like “Hannah’s”, which in fact did actually happen. And this fake story doesn’t change that! You’re helping so many people and we can really sense the effort and love that you put into this. Keep up the good work!
    Much love,
    Sabine from the Netherlands

  116. Courtney says:

We LOVE you, Cassey! I think it is really sad that someone would fool you like that. We know your intentions are nothing but pure, and we totally respect you for that. Chin up, girl 🙂

  117. Kata says:

    Hi to all,

she did lied only to herself. I mean fake OK, but she is still what she is. If this makes her happy, it’s sad. Anyway Cassey you are awesome and inspirational! 🙂 Keep onm doing great vids. Thanks. K. <3

  118. Ktorz says:

    Incredible!

Don’t feel sad Cassey, it’s not your fault.
You don’t know that was a fake but she knows what she did.
You help a lot of women everywhere in the world, your kind and we love you.

  119. Ellie says:

No no no Cassey, please dont you feel bad about all this drama! I never really post things here, and I should be studying atm, but when I read this and you said you started crying out of all the rude comments people post, that was just heartbreaking! You should be proud of this amazing blog you are running, you are inspirational and I love you and visit you everyday, like Blogilates should be my homepage already. And well, what can I say, people are often lying and doing all this things that dont even seem real, and God knows why they decide to deceive people, but you have a good heart and thats why you believe them. And I even get all that you are saying because when I saw all the comments on facebook saying that wasnt real, I felt bad that people weren’t trusting what this girl said, and now that we know he/she lied, ughh :/ Well, this is longer than I expected, but girl, please keep up the good work on this wonderful blog! We all love you Cassey and you are just great 😀 Greetings from Honduras!

  120. Ryan Noelle says:

Us POPsters LOVE YOU Cassey!!! Keep up the hard work, it is appreciated! xoxo

  121. Tina says:

Cassey don’t feel guilty about this, it’s not your fault that someone tricked you, don’t blame yourself, we all love you

  122. Clémence says:

Honnestly Cassey this was not your falt, it can happen to everyone of us. You’re here to help us get fit and healthy just because you love your job and you want to share ad we love you so so much for that so it’s normal that you believed that girl/guy.
Anyways the real weight loss story have help me so much to stay on track and keep my motivation up.
The popsters who see you in person are so lucky! If by chance you come to France please share the information 🙂
Oh and by the way the new calendar is awesome. I’m a new popster (only discovered this blog in august) and octerber is the best month yet 🙂

  123. Cassey,
I just found your blog about a week ago through your youtube videos. I love it already, and I’m so sorry for what happened. Keep your head up, you are such an inspiration to so many REAL people, including myself:) I’m also sorry for Melissa being used in this way, but she is a beautiful person and obviously a strong one. She looks like she’s accomplished a lot, and she is an inspiration as well. So thankful to have found your blog, I know it’s going to be a great tool for me to realize my fitness goals.

  124. Sarah says:

Not to ditto what everyone else said here, but they are right. Don’t feel bad Cassey! It’s really sad that we can’t trust everyone and that some people do deceptive things like this, but I think those of us that “know” you, know for sure that you wouldn’t be behind something like that.
I respect the way you handled this and I’m sorry you had to go through it. Too bad more people don’t have your values.
    Hugs!

  125. Roxanne says:

Cassey, I’m so sorry about this whole drama and I feel even worse that it made you feel badly. I just want to echo what a lot of other people are saying and let you know that the overwhelming majority of us in the Pop Pilates community owe you a huge debt of gratitude for all the hard work you do for us, we really appreciate you so much and this community you’ve created. I’m sorry that one troll can throw such a wrench in everything. You’re handling all of this in a really mature and candid way. Please don’t stress too much, we love you and are always here to help you in any way (seeing as you’ve helped all of us so much)!

  126. Rena says:

Oh Cassey! Absolutely none of this was your fault and it is all to blame on the want to be Hannah. You did nothing wrong in believing someone for what they said they accomplished through Blogilates because so many people have been changed because of you and the community that you have created. Anyone getting down on you at all doesn’t deserve to be on here any more than that Hannah person did. You’re great and an inspiration to a lot of people.

  127. Sharon says:

I was so shocked to learn what has just happened 🙁 Firstly, I never thought someone would have the nerve to pull off a fake story like that. Not only did she cheated on the Blogilates community but she cheated on herself. Secondly, to trick and lie to Cassey like that is uncalled for. Why would she do that? Is it because Cassey is well-loved by our community and this “hannah” wanted to do something to destroy Cassey’s reputation? we’ll never know ..
Lastly, what really is so shocking to me is for some POPsters to talk to Cassey like that. Yes, running a blog like this comes with a great responsibility but we should remember that Cassey gives us her free workout tutorials, workout calendars, advises and even free recipes..She did it all by herself!! and just because of one tiny mistake, some people take it all for granted?!
Please stop judging Cassey cause if we are in her shoes, I’m sure it’s not that easy. She needs our love and support right now so let’s give it to her..
Cassey,I hope you’ll feel better.. We love you

    <3 Sharon

    1. Mishy says:

You’re honestly so right! I don’t get how can people can talk to Cassey like that! She’s a wonderful person who basically gives us everything in our hands! I just hope Cassey realizes that we all got her back! And seriously, she has helped us all in so many ways! She should never put her head down! Love these comments and love how we can come together as a community, regardless of where we live, to support Cassey! Love her and this community!

  128. zoila ellinger says:

hi cassey and all the popsters out there! 🙂 great job on the weight lose journey on all four of these amazing ladies who worked hard and persevere.. anyway i just wanna ask if they have any twitter account? ..might aswell follow them so i may be able to interact and connect to help me with my weight lose too.. see i have 3 kids i’ve been doing pop pilates and eating clean for 3months now.. i was 165lbs before now im down to 140lbs.. i’d looove to lose more.. esp. around my arms and abdomen i had twin girls so its pretty hard for me to shed all the fat out, following them would be a great help for me, i’d appreciate it very much <3

    thanks 🙂
    -zoila

  129. maria says:

Oh Cassey I feel so sad that you had to go through this!I cannot believe how some people use their minds and act nowadays!BUT i LOVE you!And the whole popster community LOVES you!I wish i could meet you(but i live in greece) and personally thank you!Thank you for the motivation, the excitement, the workouts your cuteness and your hard work!Thank you for everything!

  130. Tami says:

    Cassey,

You only offered support and encouragement. When I read the initial posting this morning I actually thought, “This does not look like the same girl”. Parts of her face (her eyes especially) had a different shape in each photo. I thought, maybe she treated herself and had some other work done along the way. However, I did not want to be the first to acknowledge this and be “that person”; especially if there was any truth to the story.

You have made a HUGE impact on so many lives. Do not beat yourself up for those that do not chose an honest path. You share so much with us and offer such transparency. In that path, you have trusted others to do the same. We thank you!

  131. Nicole F says:

Cassey, you are too adorable. Don’t let things as small as this hurt you so much. We all love you and I don’t know about everyone else but I think you handled this extremely well. Though many people did read the original story, you cleared things up as soon as you could and informed everyone that it was not the truth. You’re a beautiful person and we all appreciate your dedication to your amazing blog.
    Have a wonderful day!!

  132. Amanda says:

Aw Cassey I feel so bad because you feel bad. You work so hard for us and i know its hard to not get upset when there are a couple of people who dont think before they type, but really they are just a small percentage of a greater number of people who wouldn’t lie or say mean things. We love you dearly for being so inspiring and enthusiastic about pretty much everything in life. I hope you feel better about this situation soon.

  133. Mel says:

    Hey Cassie !

I’m so sorry this happened to you – why lie, seriously. And then those who blamed you ? Phfffffu

Anyway just know that you have REAL fans who are outraged for you ! Much love from a die hard fan !

  134. Mary says:

    Casey,
I am a Communications Student in Florida and have worked with quite a bit of social media and admit even in my expertise and background I still fall victim to fake things all the time. People are malicious and want to see happy, proud, hard working people like you fail. LUCKILY you have a fabulous supportive following of popsters who will probably boat pose till the end of time if you asked them too. Don’t lose sleep, you handled it in a fantastic way and in a graceful one. Goodluck, keep making us love ourselves!

  135. Johanna says:

Don’t even blame yourself, it’s not your fault and I don’t understand those mean people with these “whoever is running this website” comments. First of all, people like this: if you don’t know who is running this website then shame on you and check before you comment.Secondly, we love you exactly because you are so open and not suspicious and you really believe in people and that they can achieve successes like this. I know that lots of people say this all the time but that’s why you are my role model <3

  136. Monika says:

To cheer you up I will tell you my story. It is not stunning, my weight is normal, but it’s true. My work makes me sitting at the desk for 8 hour/day and one day I started to feel really bad pain in my back. My doctor said that the simplest way to get rid of that pain is to start exercising. So I started with blogilates. Every day, 20-30 minutes. Pain is gone, I feel much better, stronger and happier! So thank you for your enthusiasm and your hard work! I really appreciate it and nothing will change that!

  137. Cathrine says:

Im sorry to hear that! Love your work and you, keep on doing what you’re doing. you’re lovely 🙂

  138. Suzanne says:

Cassey, this could happen to anyone. You’re not te one to blame. Thank god most of the popsters are real and caring.

Don’t feel bad. You did the bast you could.

    Greetings from Holland

  139. Vanesa says:

I’m sorry you got tricked and betrayed by this person. Reading this post hurt me too because I never knew people could lie about stuff like that, especially on HERE where there are the realest people on earth. And all you really care about is the well being of this community. We love you Cassey! Don’t be let down! You may have lost one person but you’ve got a whole groups upon groups of POPstars behind you who love you and trust you too! Love you! <3

  140. Gloria says:

I feel really bad that someone would abuse your trust like that. But I feel even worse that some of your followers didn’t give you the benefit of the doubt and instead attacked you and made you feel worse than you already felt.
I think you’re amazing. I don’t know how you find the time to do all that you do and I don’t know how you do it all while maintaining your bubbly attitude.
Thank you for all your inspiring posts and videos. Thank you for your positivity. And thank you for being trusting… there is absolutely nothing wrong with being trusting.

  141. Nathalie says:

Cassey, you should never apologise for seeing the best in people!!
Your enthusiasm, spirit and happiness are why I love working out with you, it’s what motivates me every single day and I hope you never lose that!!
    Love you xx

  142. Olena says:

Cassey, you do wonderful job for thousands of people – it is natural that some of them would turn out to be not the nicest people in the world:( But there are not so many of them, and the rest really appreciate what you’re doing and wouldn’t let you down. You are awesome, your workouts are awesome so move on:)

  143. Tiffany says:

I can’t believe other people would blame YOU for someone lying. Obviously you wouldn’t intentionally post a fake story. That’s pretty low. Keep your head up, pretty girl!

  144. Erin says:

    Cassey,

Don’t stress too much (I know it is easier said than done)! You rock! Do not let one person make you feel like you did anything wrong. I think it was a wonderful thing that you wanted to share the excitement and pride you felt for someone else’s accomplishments! Be proud to be a kind-hearted person!
    *internet hugs*

    Erin

  145. Cheri says:

    Cassey!
I just have to say that I love you and your program. I think it’s sad someone had to lie about working hard, but it’s totally not your fault. Love you!!

  146. Kendall says:

No worries Cassey. You work so hard to inspire all of us and we really appreciate the effort. There are a lot of us out here who feel this way I’m sure. Thanks for your positivity and inspiration. I never would’ve been able to get the body I want without your help!

  147. Katrina says:

Cassey! Your blog literally makes my day and I am so sorry. Before I even read that you cried, I pictured you so sad and upset that it made me teary eyed! You handled this situation with so much elegance, grace and professionalism. And for that I commend you! Be proud of yourself! We love you!!!!

  148. Nyssa says:

Cassey, the most important thing in all of this is that you inspire all of us to be better and to work harder. It’s sad that someone would fake a weight loss journey, but that person must want so much and is at the point in their life where they aren’t able to join in the actual journey. They wanted the intimate encouragement that “their” story would give. The sucky part in this is that they impersonated someone and that they are still hurting.
However, you are A-MAZING! Thank you for all the work you put into this blog and the encouragement! I definitely wouldn’t be working as hard without this blog or the community.

  149. nele says:

You’re such a wonderful person! I love how much all this touches you. The fact that you do not even blame “Hannah” but understand that she too has a story just proves how absolutely fair, dedicated and positive you are. You really do make one believe in human decency.

  150. molly says:

I never would have guessed that you do this all on your own. You’re even more amazing than I thought! You work hard and are very positive and seem like a good natured person- it’s a shame someone took advantage of that.

  151. Diana says:

Unfortunately there are some very dishonest people out there as well as some very mean people out there. Don’t let them change your spirit, don’t let them win. Your true followers love and adore you. The haters can go to hell-o.

  152. Nichole says:

Cassey – I could not imagine waking up to all of that drama. So many people chose words that were mean and uncalled for. I trust people the way you do… I completely understand that you had no reason to not believe this person, no reason to believe they were going to lie. I would have done the same thing. I appreciate you handling it so well and first thing in the morning. Please know that there are many of us that do understand. The people who are truly POPsters know you would never post a story you knew to be false. We appreciate that about you and your caring and giving nature. You work so hard for us and I am so thankful for your workouts. I hope I will be able to send you my success story when I reach my goal. Keep up the good work and know that the community you have built loves you! <3

  153. Jen says:

You handled this like a pro. How are you to know a submission is fake? All you can do is put up a “correction” blog post like you did. That’s what they do in newspapers and magazines all the time. Bad information happens, the professional thing is to call out the mistake and remedy it. No worries. 🙂

  154. Katy says:

    Hey Cassey!

First off, I can’t believe someone would lie about something like that! It’s so sad! Second, you really shouldn’t blame yourself at all. You had no way of knowing that she was lying. I would have believed her too!
Anyways, I think you’re super duper awesome and I truly appreciate all of your hard work! *internet hug*

    <3 Katy

  155. Brasting says:

    Dear Cassey,

Who ever said that this was ‘sloppy work’ is very quick to judge. People are fooled constantly and endless checking could still have you believing that the person is being honest. If Oprah Winfrey and her entire team can be fooled (http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1868982_1868981_1868978,00.html), I think its going to be hard to find every fraudster!

You handled this so well and I will be continuing to subscribe, try and be inspired by you. Thank you so much for being the wonderful, caring and open person you are!

  156. Stacy Marie says:

Don’t beat yourself up Cassey, you have handled this situation beautifully-and I’m in public relations, so I can say that with some knowledge! You had no way of knowing the story was false; the only one at fault here is the fake Popster, and shame on her. You clearly work so hard to bring your passion for fitness to the world (and you do a phenomenal job!), don’t let this one bad egg get you down!

  157. laura says:

dude! that super sucks 🙁 it is amazing to me what lengths people will take to perpetuate a deception on the internet. it is very sad and pathetic and you really just have to feel sorry for them. it is also a shame that your readers would go after you personally, but such is the way of internet anonymity. keep your chin up and keep doing what you do. my post baby body thanks you muchly for all of the awesomeness you share with us!

  158. Sandz says:

It sucks that it came to this for u Cassey because you put so much love and effort into what you do for us. It’s not fair that someone would pervert what u are trying to do for good. Don’t let one bad apple spoil the bunch

  159. Orla says:

I’ve been a personal trainer and class instructor for 7 years and pride myself on regularly studying and updating my education to be the best I can. The standard of education and enthusiasm of instructors is not great where I am from and to be honest I was a little jaded with it all(the effort I was putting it compared to my colleagues and people in the industry) until I came across your blog and it reignited my passion for fitness and health. It was just what I needed!! I really admire you for putting 100% into everything and practicing what you preach whilst still being genuine and a lot of fun, I would be proud to think I could be as great an inspiration as you! As for people playing stupid games with you, they probably want your attention and are a bit messed up,that’s sad for them but you are in no way accountable for peoples odd behaviour. Keep doing what you do,being who you are and the popsters will be behind you 100% because you’re one of the best, you have that elusive magical ingredient and you shouldn’t have to change or moderate your behaviour for anyone! Good luck and keep up the great videos and articles!

  160. Charu says:

    Dear Cassey,

Don’t worry about the people that are blindly accusing you of doing this on purpose. It is so sad that people would say such hurtful things like that 🙁 Just remember that there are SO many people that absolutely love you and are grateful for everything you do!

  161. kathy says:

aww cassey! don’t cry! it’s okay, we all make mistakes! and really it wasn’t your fault that someone was out to trick you (and us)!

we know you would never support fake weight lost stories!
keep up the great work! I will work out extra hard this month to be a success story myself! =D

  162. Sorry Cassey!! We love you!! No tears!

  163. Cinta says:

It broke my heart to read that you cried. When i first read the story,i thought it was legit too. I would think this was one of the LAST places people would fake a weight loss story. It sucks, but it could have happened to anyone. the good thing is you got to the bottom of it and got it resolved. I know it’s hard not to be bothered by the negative comments. I think those people were just really upset and hurt, they needed someone to lash out at;and so they did. You are amazing and us popsters love you so much and all the you do for us. Keep up the amazing work! I’m so sorry things happened

  164. Sigrid says:

I beilive everything everyone tell me as well! I mean, I don’t think anyone woud lie.. However, that’s not the truth, I found that out at last.

    Lots of love <3 <3 <3

  165. Char says:

Keep Smiling!!!! Lesson Learned….Sad for the peeps that were caught up in it…..Hope that the person who lied realizes what she did…….Time to take a deep breath and move on……Always, someone trying to bring ya down…..Put on your kicks and run faster than they do…… C

  166. Ashley says:

It’s sad that people would take the time out of their day and lives to create something that is false and fake. What was this person supposed to gain by doing this? Make us question who is telling the truth or not? I don’t get it. Cassey, don’t waste your time on these type of people. I continue to read every day the girls and guys who look to you as an inspiration and I see the photos of people sweating their you know what’s off so that they can make you proud. If this Hannah wants her 15 minutes of fame that’s fine. Let her have it. The POPsters love you (myself included)! You continue to push us to be our best and look our best. Keep your head up and keep on making us sweat!

    Love, Ashley

  167. Cassey,
Try not to let this get to you too much. You do SO much good for people all over the world. For the first time in my life I am exercising EVERYDAY, because you make it so enjoyable. I can’t believe I can even use ‘enjoyable and exercise’ in the same sentence. People tell me everyday that they notice how fit I am getting. Social media can be a bit daunting (I know, I am a musician and use it everyday), but don’t let people like this sway you. They are the minority, but the majority loves what you do and appreciates all of your efforts.
Deep breath, and go forward. Your positive outlook is what makes you so amazing!
    Thanks for everything.
    Noëlle Hampton

  168. Camille says:

Aw Cassey. No worries sweetie, we know you would never do that on purpose! You are trusting and unfortunately that sometimes leads to being taken advantage of (I know because I’m the same way!). Don’t lose your faith in people and your optimistic perspective on life. More people should view the world the way you do! XOXO

  169. Janice says:

Hey Cassey, Don’t worry about it. Totally not your fault. One could take it as a lesson learnt. Take heart! Cheers xo

  170. Emily says:

    Cassey,

I’m so sorry that someone did tricked you in this way. I’ve read through some of the comments and am absolutely appalled by some of the things I’ve read. You seem so positive and energetic, and that is the number one reason I started following you. Try not to let this get to you more than it has? Easier said than done, I know.

I want to thank you for all you do for the Blogilates community. I’m a newbie, and I don’t normally participate other than the occasional “Like” on Facebook. I found you on Tumblr on August 14, and your videos have already changed my life. I’m not even over-exaggerating. I’m losing weight, I’m strong for the first time in my life, I’m sticking with an exercise regimen, and I’ve finally moved on from the Beginners workouts.

Thanks for all you do. You truly are amazing.

  171. Sev says:

Cassey you are my girl! Don’t fret – it was all in good faith. We love what your doing and your a strong beautiful woman! Thanks for getting me motivated and starting my own POPStars journey! Love You!

  172. Mackenzie says:

    Cassey-

You don’t have anything to worry about. You handled this situation very well. You are an inspiration to us all and your up-beat attitude and motivation makes us all want to be better! I’m sorry you had to start out OMGOctober like this, but don’t let it ruin your month. It’s that person’s fault, not yours. You are here to support us and that’s exactly what you were doing. Even though it ended up being a hoax, at least you supported her “weight loss journey!”

    We love you girl!

  173. katie says:

Cassey, don’t be upset over this, its not your fault! Nobody in the popsters community is going to blame you for posting this, it most certainly is not your fault. I just can’t believe someone would do this on such a close community like Blogilaties is.

I’m really sorry to the person in the picture for getting her feelings hurt. You’re beautiful girl, don’t let anyone bring you down!

  174. Liz M. says:

I agree with everyone. YOU are not the bad guy here. We all make mistakes and we all trust people who lie to us and lead us astray. But you did the right thing by fixing it. So be more careful but don’t ever stop trusting people completely.

  175. Susie says:

Don’t worry Cassey! You’re still the best, your mistake was only human, still won’t stop me from loving all your hard work <3

  176. Elena says:

Hey Cassey we all love u so much!!!
Ps. maybe you can use http://www.tineye.com to check the source of an image: you just have to past the URL and it will tell you where the image appears on the web.

A lot of love from Italy! :)))

  177. Brittany says:

Some people are just messed up. You can’t let this stuff bring you down Cassie. All that matters is you caught it and fixed things! As far as Melissa Marchetti goes, THAT is an inspirational story. Wow! Congrats Melissa really awesome job. I hope I can be as successful as you with everything in my life, just making a goal, sticking to things and succeeding at it. You look fantastic so pretty! 😀 <3

  178. Roxanna Hoda says:

    Cassey,
Please don’t beat yourself up! I know how you feel, I tend to believe what people tell me because I want to see the good in everyone. Unfortunately, you were fooled by someone that craved attention for whatever reason. All you can do is make this a learning experience. I promise this will blow over in a few days and all anyone will remember is how inspiring you are! Keep your head up. : )

  179. Makenzie says:

So sorry you fell a victim to someone’s cruel jokes. People will do anything to put others down. You handled this so well and I am always inspired by you!! Everyone is on their own journey!!

  180. Tanja says:

Eh Cassey, I know how it is if you’re too naive and believe almost everything people say. We’re like kids:) don’t worry about this, most of people understand this and are not blaming you for anything.

  181. Haley says:

I’m so sorry this happened, but I can’t believe people were so mad at you!

We love you, we love that you love us, and the fact that this site is so personal is what keeps me coming back! NEver change being you Cassey!

Sorry this happened to you, some peopl just don’t operate kindly!

  182. Julia says:

Honest mistake Cassey! We love you and you inspire all of us so much! Don’t let this get you down… you only see the good in people and who could blame you for that 🙂

  183. Dilek says:

Honestly, I feel sorry that you had to wake up to that because although you were the one who posted the story, you are NOT the bad guy in this picture. As I wrote on Facebook, I understood why friends of Melissa got angry at you, but I was really pissed off when some Popsters started preaching you. You of all people! You who do everything for the Blogilates community, who not only makes us healthier and fitter but also helps us out economically (if it weren’t for you, I’d have to pay at least 20 euros a month for 3 times a week of Pilates + bus fares because I don’t have a driving licence or a car).

So yeah… just keep doing what you usually do and don’t take what people hiding behind monitors say to heart. I don’t know about others, but I’ll always support you(cheesy moment, bring in the violins! :P).

    lots of love,
    Dilek

    1. Thekla says:

      agreed, well said

  184. Lucy says:

we love you cassey and still believe in you! big kisses your way:*

  185. Connie says:

Cassey, you are such a great person! You are sincerely caring and open. Shame on someone for taking advantage of those qualities in you. I hate that this has turned into an emotional ordeal for you and hope this does not diminish your eagerness and enthusiasm. You do SO MUCH good, please don’t let this incident change that. You inspire countless people everyday! Keep your chin up. Those of us who pay attention to all the good that you do know, without a doubt, that you would never hurt anyone intentionally or send out anything that you know is fake.

  186. Tiffany says:

Cassey! We love you and are so thankful for all you do for us. These things happen. All anyone of us can do is learn from this and move on…as well as figure out ways to make sure this never happens again. We are on your team! Hugs. Don’t cry!! We know you want us to succeed with our goals and you see the best in people. It is a sad world when that is taken advantage of.

  187. Lea says:

I can’t believe people blamed you! People are fake and people lie that’s not in the least bit your fault! I believe in you! Keep up your amazing work Cassey we all love you!

  188. Patty says:

This could have happened to any of us. No one would think to doubt a weight loss story. You’re amazing, put out great original content and expect nothing but honesty from those who approach you. That’s being who you are.

You took care of it so well and your true fans know that.

  189. Jennifer says:

Don’t be upset! Everyone has bad days @ work! You are a fitness inspiration gurl!!

  190. Amy Rzez says:

Cassey, this is not your fault AT ALL! Sometimes people just chose to mess with the smartest, nicest people out there to make themselves feel better. “Hannah” is a jealous little brat who obviously has nothing to do with her life. It upsets me that she and all the rude comments hurt you so badly. You put so much dedication into your relationship with your popsters and you definitely do not deserve to be treated this way! You are an amazing person. We love you.

  191. Julia says:

It is too bad that this happened! But any time you work with the public, you will get some real weirdos. I love your videos and your blog, and you work really hard to do a good job. Thanks for everything you do!!!

  192. Jane says:

This is just sad 🙁 I cant believe how far people will go just to get some attention!
Cassey, this is not your fault. I can’t believe some people actually accused you of knowingly lying to us 🙁

  193. Beatriz says:

Real Popstars will always love you!! You are awesome, an inspiring woman, who can handle tons of work and still do a workout video with a simle on her face (how hard is that, huh?). I really admire you. You’ve helped tons of people to feel happier, and you’ll help tons more!! So don’t let this bring you down, you just trusted one bad person, but this is because you are so good as a human being!! Seriously, I have not enough words to say how much I admire and love you, and I always will.

  194. healthysthenewskinny says:

aaw, I want to give you a hug!
How can someone do this to you? You’re so sweet to all your POPsters 🙂
    Stupid internet trolls!
    Keep up your good work!

  195. Ivana says:

Oww, Cassey, we Popsters do have a special relationship, we love you <3

  196. Tami says:

    Dear Cassey,
I know this is though but unfortunately this can happen to anyone of us. So don’t let it get you down too much. We will always love you and you’ll always be a great inspiration for us ♥

  197. Ashley says:

    Cassey!
This happens. We so much want to trust what is said to us (especially if it’s regarding something we put so much effort into creating -ie. your pop pilates!).
I’ve been frauded before so I know the feeling of ‘oh my gosh, is this for real not real?!!??!’ but all you can do is learn from it 🙂 Perhaps you do have to question people more (not because you don’t fully believe them, but out of protection for your business and your popsters).
Let the tears fall for its healthy to express emotion, but pick yourself back up and be the amazing leader that you are! This is not at all held against you 🙂 AND Hey! You truly are helping countless people achieve their health goals and weigh loss! Be proud of that!
Keep up the amazing work! And get more sleeeeep!!! You’ve given us the tools to make it a week without you – vacation time perhaps?? You deserve to no be a workaholic and enjoy life outside of work 🙂
    you have our support!
    x

  198. Victoria says:

No Cassey, don’t feel bad! You did your best, you didn’t have to do a background check, I wouldn’t have if I were in your position.
Please keep smiling, you’re a wonderful instructor and most of us understand how hard it is to manage the whole Blogilates pages (Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, Youtube 1 & 2…!). And we love you 🙂 <3

  199. Brooke says:

This makes me so sad!! It’s a shame that honest and trusting people get hurt by creeps out there! You are an amazing blogger and truly and inspiration. Keep doing what your doing! And if mistakes happen along the way, so be it! We will still love you Cassey!! xoxo!

  200. Angie says:

I was sad to see how upset some people’s comments affected you. You do a fantastic job at encouraging others… I honestly don’t know anybody so devoted and positive. Please try not to take negative comments too personally! The people that leave comments like that are usually miserable and looking to blame anyone and everyone else for no good reason.

    God bless you!!

  201. Holly says:

Aw Cassey. You made an honest mistake because of your trusting nature. We still love you!! Hope you can enjoy the rest of your day. xxx

  202. Bailey says:

    gurl, you fabulous.
    remember that 🙂

  203. Katie says:

Nice accountability! Mistakes and accidents happen. The measure of a person and their intent comes with how they handle the aftermath. You are clearly star. Not only are you a fitness role model, you’re also deminstrating what it is to be a mature, responsible, respectful person. Don’t be too hard on yourself 🙂

    1. Katie says:

      ahhh, typos! please excuse them.

  204. LK says:

We still love you! They are just hating. Everyone makes mistakes. That is what makes us human. Please, Cassie, you are still awesome!

  205. andrea2609 says:

I can’t even imagine someone would do that!!!! I feel so sorry for you! Luckily there are also honest people in the world….

  206. Harsha says:

    Dear Cassey,
You have handled the whole situation with a lot of professionalism and grace .We love you too and will not let this little snag ruin our October spirit .We love you . We love you ,We love you .Did I say we love you ?
