So You Want Slimmer Inner Thighs…

So You Want Slimmer Inner Thighs…

Hey POPsters!!!

Happy Monday 🙂 I hope you are all doing well. Did you have a pleasant weekend? Did you do something nice for the Daddio on Sunday?

I am soooo delighted to share with you this 3 minute inner thigh workout to Train’s “Drive By”. Inner thighs were the MOST REQUESTED muscle group this round so I had no choice but to grant your wishes. It actually makes my job a billion times easier when I know what you want – all I have to do is just DO IT! So thanks for your comments – I am always reading them 🙂

What body part and song should I do for the next challenge?

Also, I had a thought. I know you guys like the FOOD Bites videos on BlogilatesTV – but I was wondering if you wanted like super quickie food videos where I can show you how to make something healthy in less than a minute? What should the series be called?

OoOOOoOOo so many questions for you to answer!!! Please tell me in the comments! Love hearing form you guys. Our open and dynamic conversation is what makes this community sooo FABULOUS!

Love you so much and talk to you soon,

Cassey

It’s a very good exercise as I have knee problems, so my knees hurt every time I do squats, so when I found this I was amazed. The only thing is, every time I do the exercise, my stomach only hurts and I cannot feel anything in my inner thighs, so I don’t know if I am doing it correctly. I would really appreciate some tips 🙂

  2. christa says:

So good exercise! The only thing im concerned is if when sinking your ankles down and having your thighs bounce back, i dont know if thats good for your hips, do u know what i mean? Like maybe if it eased or somethin? Ok, but it was good. Do the songturn down for what

  3. Destiny says:

I have really bad hips, always have, and this KILLS my hips! I feel nothing in my thighs! My hips keep popping every time I move them for this excersize, and it really hurts. And putting my hands under my butt doesnt work. What can I do to make this work? I realllyyyyy need to slim down my thighs.

  4. Katie says:

THIS WAS AWESOME! Cassey, your positivity makes it SO easy and fun to work out! I feel stronger than ever before… BEAST MODE!

  5. Jen says:

I think this is my favourite workout video? It’s so simple but it burnssssssss

I remember the first time I tried this, I honestly stopped half way and had so many little breaks, now after weeks of doing this, I can do it without stopping! ^-^

  6. Katie says:

Holy shit.. this was only 4 minutes long and it kicked my ass! Keep being amazing, Cassey! Oh, and would you do a workout challenge to the song, “Wrecking Ball”?

  7. Stacey says:

Hi there, I was just wondering. Do you have any easy but very effective workouts for your upper body. I have that arm, shoulders, and back fat problem. Plz help! Thank you!

    1. Christina says:

You can always do any of her arm videos, but if it is too hard, she usually has modifications, but are still very effective!

  8. tuzca says:

i hope i can still walk tomorrow after doing this…it hurts so much and yet it feels sooooo good!

  9. Mimers2 says:

Totally love this video! Exactly what I needed thanks! 🙂 totally feel the burn in my thigh and abs.

  10. Catherine says:

Hey! love this video. Is there a way to spot reduce that annoying side knee fat?

  11. chloe says:

i did this as part of the may 1 callender super cool and also sweaty i kinda need something to help with my splits

  12. Gina B says:

I just did this video as part of the April 1 calendar set for my first ever Blogilates workout, and I LOVED it! I liked this one the best of all the videos because of its repetitive challenge throughout the song. Really cool workout concept!

  13. Emily says:

My back and stomach really hurt and felt nothing on my hips or thighs, am I doing it right?

    1. Triana Rose says:

Not quite…certainly your abs will be slightly in pain but maybe your leg lifts have been more concentrated on ur outer thighs…try to move ur legs slightly more outwards in order to target those inner thighs and you will certainly feel pain … keep up the spirit !!

  14. Emily says:

Do I just do this once a day then to slim out my thighs?

  15. Julie says:

I am trying this tonight.. hope it helps and fast

  16. Maya says:

The first time I did this my hips hurt mostly hurt but after the 3rd or 4th time I could really see improvement in my inner thighs! Thanks Cassey!

  17. Ashley says:

This hurt my hips more than anything. My thighs didn’t even burn much. What’s up with that?

  18. Sayaka says:

This is my FAVORITE Inner Thigh workout videos!!! FOR SURE!!!
Words cannot express, how HAPPY I am!!! EEEEE!!!

  19. Allie says:

after not doing this video for a month, it really did kill me! i paired it with your london inner thigh video. i am going to be so sore tomorrow! 🙂

  20. Allie says:

after not doing this video for a month, it really did kill me! i paired it with your london inner thigh video. i am going to be so sore tomorrow! 🙂

  21. Thuy-Truc Le says:

This workout looking amazing. My thighs are such a problem area for me. I just discovered your site and it’s definitely going to a staple for me from now on.

  22. Olivia says:

My thighs are ok, but my knees hurt…

  23. Annissa says:

I’d love to see a challenge for biceps or lower back! Another ab one would be awesome too – I have a hard time with the other ab challenge due to a hip injury 🙁

  24. Jessica says:

O.M.G I LOVED IT! I also felt it in my lower abs YAY!!!!!!!!!

Maybe some arms next time?? Like the triceps?? And maybe to a Taylor Swift song?!?!?!?

YOU ARE WONDERFUL! I love your workouts soo much!

  25. Ju says:

I’ve been able to do this workout, call me maybe squat challenge, and payphone tricep dip challenge. I don’t work out on a regular basis, but doing those for the first time, I scream at my computer. XD yes, it’s killer, but so good.

The trouble spot you focus on for the next song challenge doesn’t matter to me, but I noticed you havent done any for the back. I think Ellie Goulding’s “Lights” would be nice to work out with.

Thanks for posting your videos on YouTube and being so pumped and motivating us when we reach the point of “I just want to fall over.”

  26. Emily says:

My inner thighs definitely burn hard. I love the timing in your videos, because right when I feel like I have to give up, you’re like “hey, keep it up. Train insane or remain the same.” And I keep going. I love it! They’re all so great.

  27. Saima says:

I loved this vid, did it a few times and really felt the burn.

Please can we have outer thighs and obliques vid. to really shape the outline of our body.

  28. Amy Romero says:

I’m in serious need of some more shape in my calves….soooo calves is my vote– and I’m not sure of song, I’m not a big pop/top 40 fan, buuuut if you incorporated some hip hop top 40 I could get behind that. How about that new(ish) song w/ Ludacris & John Legend? loooove that! And I would TOTALLY be interested in your quick meal deal. Love it!!

    1. Emily says:

She already did a calves video to Glad you Came! Check it out!

  29. Emilie says:

Loved this. However, toward the end the tops of my thighs burned SO bad and I had to stop. My inner thighs didn’t burn that much during though. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!!

  30. Jessica says:

Kassy – You should add a “Pin It” button for all your videos. I post all my favorite Blogilates videos to my Pintrest fitness board but it would be sooo much easier with a “Pin It” button.

Keep the challenges coming – I LOVE them!

  31. Rachel says:

Great workout, as always! I would love to see back and the back of the upper arm (rear delts)!

  32. Alejandra says:

my hip flexors were killing me! loved it! another lower belly video would be amazing!!

  33. Liz says:

WOAHHH! My inner thighs were burning…in a good way! I’m definitely gonna do that workout weekly.
For the next video how about “Back In Time” for working on the back muscles? I would love to have a killer back to show off in all my tanks and sports bras 🙂

  34. Deanna says:

You should do a chest or back Bikini Blaster/Challenge video next. Not sure about the song for the Challenge. As for the quickie one minute food video, that sounds like a super duper awesome idea (in my Cassey voice!). How about “Yummy in 60 Seconds”? You know, “Food Bites” is a good name already.

  35. Jackie says:

LOVED the inner thighs workout! I am doing this baby 3 times!

  36. Dalila says:

This video killed my thighs lol
For the next challenge, I’d love to see a back video to any song. I really can’t think of a song. lol

  37. Kyra says:

I would love to see a video with “Back in time” 🙂

And I think it would be a really good idea to do those short videos about making healthy food! I’m always asking myself what healthy things I could snack, but most times I’m not motivated enough to make something that needs time.

  38. Carina says:

I’d love a great workout for back and shoulders 🙂
I know it’s POP Pilates but I think it would be awesome to work out to some nice hip hop. Maybe “Can’t Get Enough” by J. Cole ft. Trey Songz 🙂

  39. Megan says:

This inner thigh video was way more difficult than I expected! Hopefully I will feel it tomorrow 🙂
For the next one I would love shoulders or lower back!

  40. Cat says:

hmmm maybe ‘where have you been’ by rihanna and biceps? and i would love to see the 1 minute food vids!

  41. Lily Nguyen says:

Ooh, I really like Shivi’s “fit food fast” or Patricia’s “mini munches”…or maybe you should go with “POP Foods” to go with POP Pilates! Idk.it sounds spunky and it’s simple.lol.

I don’t know which song, but I would love more inner/outer thighs or obliques.my toughest areas!

  42. Alfie says:

    Back, Back, Back! 🙂

  43. momina says:

Triceps for the next challenge pleaseeeeeee!!

  44. Amber says:

I’m going to vote again for Back work out to “Back in Time” – kind of dancey I think. haha

  45. Katie says:

I love the title “Cassey’s In-N-Out kitchen” that Shivi suggested. I think obliques or outer thighs would be good. Annnd I vote for Everbody Talks by Neon Trees. We Are Young by Fun would be good but the tempo change might be a little weird.

LOVE YOUR WORKOUTS! 🙂 I just started a couple weeks ago and I’m pretty sure I’m addicted. I can definitely already see a difference! You are so motivating and dedicated!

  46. Colleen says:

One minute recipes?! Sounds awesome! How bout calling them “Snacks in a snap?”

  47. Kat says:

    f(x) Electric Shock !!!!
    for your chest! Or cardio?

    Loveeee your challeneges!!! =D

  48. Amy says:

Hi, just want to say I love your workouts! I just started about a month ago after a running injury and the need take some time off from running. I am addicted to your videos and I’ve never felt stronger or looked better. You’re an awesome instructor! Thanks for everything you do.

  49. Gracie Decker says:

oh I would LOVE quick recipes! the minute muffin seriously saves my life when I’m in a rush!
and for the next video, I would love something to get rid of the stubborn armpit fat. and music by jesse james, she’s great.

  50. Laura says:

Fit Food Fast was a good suggestion.

Hmm. Maybe “Cute Fuel” ? Something bubbly to match your personality.

The Fighter – Gym Class Heroes has been a favorite as of late.

  51. Cristina says:

I would love to see a workout for JUST the lower belly pooch. And as for a song..maybe “Save the World” by Swedish House Mafia or possibly “Levels” by Avicii.

And quick healthy food tutorials would be amazing, I’m a college student so I need things that I can make quickly the night before or morning of and take with me. And how about something simple like “Quick Bites” (:

  52. abt says:

    Lower back, for sures.
I’m also digging “American Girl” by The Dudes. I don’t know if its Top 40 enough but its catchy!

  53. Sara says:

thank you, thank you! I love your quick and targeted workouts, especially for this area (my big problem spot). No excuse not to do a workout this quick. Love your blog!

  54. Emma says:

“Quick and simple nom noms”? Or is that too long? Anyhoo, I think the short healthy food making vids is a fantastic idea. I struggle to keep away from sugary things (darn sweet tooth). How does one resist?

  55. Omg that is the one thing I am still struggling with, I don’t know what to cook that’s completely clean. I just have no ideas on what to cook, let alone how to cook it! So to struggle with that thought process for every meal of the day is frustrating. Simple videos of healthy meals would be the perfect solution for me and a lot of other POPsters too! Thank you Cassey!!! You’re amazing!!!

  56. Samantha says:

    Obliques or back!

  57. Christina says:

“Fit Food Fast” as previously suggested sounds great!

My suggestion is: “Minute Meals” – obvious but that’s what you want so you will get more hits and clicks 🙂 Looking forward to it!

  58. brittany says:

yay! fast easy meals sound amaziiiiiiing. cant wait! I’d love to see arm pit fat do awayers or lower back! thanks for all this! <3 it

  59. Lydia says:

    Back and shoulders please!!!

  60. Camila Maria says:

I’d love less than a minute meals! And THANK YOU for the inner thighs workout!!!!! Next should be arms!!!!! You really killed arms with those plank workouts! And lower abs is always good too!!!

  61. Esther says:

Back and shoulders would be awesome!!! <3

And another "standing pilates" video would be great too. I like to do your "backless dress workout" with my co-workers on our lunch break and we would love to have another one to alternate.

  62. Danielle says:

I would love something to attack the bra bulge! Especially with tank top and bikini time here 🙂

  63. Izzi says:

What body part and song should I do for the next challenge?: Upper Arm toning – no one wants to lift up their arms at the beach and be saggy/flabby/Ho Hey by the Lumineers, it’s short but oh so sweet.

Also, I had a thought. I know you guys like the FOOD Bites videos on BlogilatesTV – but I was wondering if you wanted like super quickie food videos where I can show you how to make something healthy in less than a minute? What should the series be called?: Blogibites!

  64. Carli says:

The song “Boys of Summer” by The Ataris would be an awesome one! I’d love something for outer thighs or upper abs. Thank you!

  65. Sherry says:

Making healthy foods in under a minute would be so helpful! A suggestion for a name could be: QuickBits!

  66. Carley Straub says:

I want to hear Tonight by Fun. My favorite spots to work are love handles, abs, and thighs. Since you’ve done pretty awesome challenges for those already lets see a back and/or shoulders video!!

  67. Mandey says:

I would love to see a lower back challenge. A whole song of supermans!

  68. Samantha Helme says:

The back/core! I have the worst lower back problems and would love a nice workout to help me strengthen those muscles!

  69. Marie says:

Outer thighs to “We Found Love” by Rihanna!

  70. mariahled says:

Its time to kill our outer thighs, Cassey!! 🙂

    1. Wendy says:

YES! Outer thighs/saddlebags – is there a workout for that? Thanks Cassey, I just discovered your site and it’s fantastic!

  71. Celeste says:

Omg I would love an obliques workout! Maybe to Dance Again by Jennifer Lopez or Part of Me by Katy Perry 🙂 Or Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye!

  72. Lisa says:

I love this quick thigh workout. I love the inner thigh insanity 13minute workout too. How about one for saddlebags…you don’t have them though haha. Shoulders would also be great.

  73. Eva says:

Love it! I think something ab-oriented, maybe like obliques or something? That would be amazinggggg 😀

  74. Allie says:

Shoulders or back, please! Would love a workout to 4ever by the Veronicas, but I guess that’s not a popular song right now.

  75. Johanna says:

    Shoulders would be awesome!

  76. Kat says:

id love a lower back/love handle workout video. Music ideas: We are young by Fun or my body by young the giant (i think it would be really fitting) I definately felt thins in my hip flexors more than thighs even with my hands under my butt.

  77. Lulu says:

Great workout and lovely blog, thanks for sharing!!!
    Lulu

  78. Gabriella says:

Saddlebacks or shoulders! And I would really love food videos!

  79. Erynn says:

I think the healthy one minute meals is an excellent idea! So many times I am starving and don’t have time to make something healthy, or at least I think I don’t so this would be a great way for others to eat clean with they are super hunger. Possibly name it something with the words “healthy fast food” or “satisfying meals in 60 seconds”…

  80. K says:

Love it, wow you look a lot thinner! You have great legs. I love your thigh videos 🙂 what type of cardio do you recommend to combine this with to get good results ?
Next should be waistline / obliques 🙂

  81. zararose says:

Yey loved this workout ! Did all the challenges this morning 🙂

  82. Bettina says:

    Outer thighs would be great!!!!

  83. Isabella says:

    Hi Cass!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this workout (and literally all of your workouts!). For the next video, could you please show some moves to make abs less bulky? I have a really strong core, but my abs sort of bulk out, so I was wondering if there were any moves that can make me have a lean not bulgy stomach. Thanks so much and keep it up! 🙂

    xoxo
    Bells

  84. Priyanka B. says:

I’d love a back workout. Upper OR lower, I just can never get motivated enough to work on mine on my own.

And I love cooking videos. Sounds great!

  85. Victoria says:

These challenges are amazing! I’d love a muffin top one! I am too unfit right now to do your 17minute odd one, so doing a short challenge will help build up strength!

  86. Clare says:

I love this workout, thanks Cassey! You should REALLY do outer thighs next…and then maybe lower abs and biceps and triceps…also you should do more stretching videos! 😀 Just suggestions, not trying to sound demanding, LOL.

  87. Mary says:

Can we get some electronica/dance/club music pretty please and not just upbeat pop?? I know I’ve asked before and I’ll probably ask again! lol I’d love if you used Rusko’s “Somebody To Love” or “Thunder” specifically.

  88. Morgan says:

Shoulders is a great idea… And Katy Perry always makes me smile and try harder during my workouts!! Thanks so much for all that you do Cassey!!

  89. Becki says:

Shoulders would be awesome!! Love the video, btw. Maybe Katy Perry for the next one?:)

  90. Morgan says:

“Back in Time” by pitbull, “We Run the Night” by Havanna Brown, “Where Have You Been” by Rihanna, and (I’m embarrassed to say it) “Boyfriend” by Justin Bieber. I’m hooked on those songs!!

As for muscle groups, I’d love to work my lower back, hips, outer legs, and shoulders. I don’t think we’ve done those yet.

LOVE THESE, btw! Keep them up! <3

  91. Amanda Gardner says:

you should do a video to the song “Bounce” by Calvin Harris. something that involves bouncing! lol

  92. Megan says:

I would love a video focusing on the back! I feel like it’s one of the most neglected parts of my body.

A quick video on a healthy food item would be amazing, I would only ask that you use foods I can find locally, I live in a very small town so speciality foods are over an hour away 🙁 boo!

  93. Rosanne says:

    Heeyy Cassey

I like a challenge with the song ‘Summer Paradise – Simple Plan’ or maybe ‘Is Anybody Out There – K’Naan’

Btw. Last week I found out about your vids. I’m slim, but I like to do exercises and you motivates me everytime.

    Byee

  94. Amerz says:

Great challenge! I think you should do saddlebags/outer thighs with the song don’t wake me up by chris brown 🙂

  95. Roxanne says:

    Fit Food Fast +1

    1. Becki says:

      I like that one.

  96. Courtney S. says:

I think we should do a lower ab or oblique challenge to the Neon Trees “It Started With a Whisper”!!!!

    1. Jeannie says:

It’s actually called “Everybody Talks” and I think that abs and obliques are a great idea, especially with that song! 🙂

      1. Katie says:

I agree, that would be an awesome song! And I support the obliques idea!

  97. Ariana says:

I like another reader’s idea of calling the new videos “Fit Food Fast.” I would seriously feel so awesome if you made that the name, no joke. 😉

Abs/Obliques!!! I <3 Abs. Do it to another pop mashup–like the ones by Mark Johnsay (I know I probably spelled that incorrectly). Make it hard! Like the "Abominable Abdominals" video–it's great!

    Thanks Cassie!
Also.. I don't know if you would be at all interested but I'm working on tweaking an awesome brownie recipe if you want it? Healthy, of course!

  98. Brenee says:

    ouch!! Loved it!! 🙂

  99. Denielle says:

Hi Cassey! My vote for the next challenge would be a back workout for a toned and sexy back! 😉 Also, I LOVE the idea of quickie meal videos!! That would be so helpful and I would appreciate it and I’m sure other popsters will too!

  100. Nicole says:

Oooo Cassey this looks so hard! but I’d also love for the next challenge to be either back or lower abs! 🙂

  101. Pru says:

Cassey! When will the muffin tops be available again? I keep checking the site but they’re never there, I really want one

“Muffin tops are for muffins only”

Please please re-stock them again, they’re so cute!

  102. Nojo says:

Shoulders should be next challenge! and flabby saggy arms! thanks cassey

  103. Christine says:

“1 min flat to a fab bikini body”

  104. Christine says:

Hi girl! you are a great inspiration thanx for such great articles for the motivation… won’t you pls post an article on carb cycling as we hear so much about that and then also a 1200 cal carb cycling diet menu plan to help shed weight, and some choice’s of food to use?

  105. Patricia says:

Mini munches maybe? An obliques challenge! I looooove all your challenges because I never have time to work out and these only take a few minutes!

  106. Sarah says:

Ooooh my god ! my thighs were killing my at the end ! but I know it’s all worth it ! Thank you Cassey 😀

  107. Max says:

I like Shivi’s suggestion of “Fit Food Fast”!

I think an outer thigh challenge would complement this challenge. Also, what about doing a stretching challenge? We need more stretching videos! 😀

  108. Sonia says:

Great, it is just what I needed, my inner thighs need some extra work !

  109. Rachel says:

I’m so uncoordinated, it’s sad, lol. It takes me a good few reps of the leg circles sideways to get the legs working together and not flailing like a dope :-/ Awesome challenge, though! The scissors always seem too easy, then near the end you really feel them.

Maybe shoulders next as a challenge? No idea for song, but shoulders might be fun 🙂 Thanks Cassey <3

  110. Sanne says:

    Thank you so much!

I would love to train my inner thighs but, when I try to this it hurts sooo bad, not muscle pain but like some joints are wrong? Do you know what this could be?

And I love your healthy food vids, you should call it Healthy Cooking with Cassey!

  111. Kim says:

If you don’t mind, clean recipes without the protein shake?

  112. Jodie says:

    I’d love a back challenge 🙂
This one is great! I love doing a circuit of your challenges – this is a perfect addition!
    Thank yoooou!

  113. Shivi says:

oh and 1 minute food series name ideas for you: Flash recipes, 1 min kitchen quickies, The healthy In-N-Out kitchen, Kitchen Dynamo, Catch up with Health, Fit Food Fast, 60 seconds with Food, 60 seconds in the kitchen, Food Nibbles in 60 seconds, Food Nibbles, Cassey’s In-N-Out Kitchen, Cooked in 60, Blast through the kitchen, …. yup that’s it, the ideas are just going in circles now! 😀
Anyway from that list I personally like Fit Food Fast, Food Nibbles and Cassey’s In-N-Out kitchen

  114. Shivi says:

Cassey, I love this vid. Nice and simple and very manageable! I’ve only recently started regularly using your vids and they are definitely intense for beginners so this workout was a nice break but still stretched me(mentally AND physically!).

    Thankyou 🙂

  115. Caroline Frawley says:

    oooowwwwwwwwwwww!!!! you crazy crazy girl!

  116. Ida from Norway says:

it would be great with a healthy quicky!!

  117. Ni Ni says:

Would love you to show us DIY to make organic peanut butter? 🙂 🙂 🙂
I have been hunting for one but cant find them anywhere here in SIN. So I am thinking to make one by myself.

    1. faye says:

YES! That would be awesome!! 🙂

      1. Shivi says:

there are a bunch of recipes online:
        3 cups of unsalted peanuts
        1 teaspoon of peanut oil

Preheat oven to 180C/350F and bake nuts for 20-25mins. Blend in food processor with oil and voila. done. Probably best to keep in fridge. For crunchy: set aside half of the baked nuts and process other half with oil til smooth, then add the remaining nuts and pulse a few times.

And if you want it organic then you’ll just have to use organic ingredients 🙂

    2. Isa says:

You just put peanuts in the blender until they get buttery. Not very hard! The oil up if you do it long enough!
