The Sailor Moon Workout

The Sailor Moon Workout

WORKOUT DETAILS

Hello POPsters!!!

FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!!! Your Sailor Moon Workout is here.

So much love and care went into this routine so I hope you really enjoy it! I was supposed to get it up earlier but Final Cut Pro like DELETED half of my work. I nearly died. You may have seen my tweet.

But thank goodness. The video is up! I hope you get a kick out of it. Sailor Moon is my all time favorite super heroine! Who’s yours?

It was super nerve wrecking wearing this costume and running around in Little Tokyo but eventually I got used to the staring! I felt like I had a lot to live up to, since you know, it’s kinda her town and her peeps! Overall, it was a fun experience and I love getting into the creative/entertaining aspect of fitness.

Enjoy and let me know how long it takes you to complete the workout! GET EXCITED for Halloween next week and for the #NutsInNovember Calendar! Woot Woot!!!!

<3 you!!!

Cassey

PS – time to get off the comp!!!!

This made my day! I grew up with Sailor Moon, the anime and the manga. And now I’m really enjoying the reboot. Sailor Moon taught me some important lessons when I was a child; it’s okay to be afraid as long as you don’t let that fear paralyze you, friendship is the greatest asset and strength comes from within. I still use these lessons even in my workouts! I’m not afraid to try new moves, I utilize the buddy system and when I feel like I’ve had enough I dig deep and go a few more reps.
Thanks for sharing this workout, Cassey! It’s always a treat to find another Senshi out in the world!

Also, the new theme song “Moon Pride” is fantastic for getting the energy up and the blood pumping! I use it as my pre-workout song all the time!

Off to work with the biggest smile and I can’t wait to come back home and try this workout. I may even dust off an old Sailor Moon VHS (relic I know) and play it while I work out 🙂 Thanks Cassey!!!

Cassey I have a food bites request!
Here in upstate new york fruit season is over (except for apples, but those are almost done too) so all the fruit is being shipped from far away and it’s super expensive and not even very good. I miss blueberries and strawberries and raspberries terribly and would love to try frozen ones but I have no idea what to do with them. I just eat fresh fruit plain but frozen fruit plain is weird. So how do I make use of frozen fruit? Thank youuu!

    1. Kalliste says:

I buy frozen berries but don’t have a microwave. I throw however much I want into a bag and then into a sink with a bit of hot water. Leave for about 10 mins and they’re defrosted and tasty.
I usually eat them with low fat Greek yoghurt and oats.

      1. Liz J says:

That’s an awesome idea! Thank you!

        1. Asha says:

You can make smoothies or sorbet with them 🙂
Freeze some bananas and then put a banana in the food processor (or a blender if you don’t have one, a food processor has more power) with some frozen berries and a couple tablespoons of milk (if you’re vegan use almond milk or coconut milk). I think that would taste really good 🙂 (I do bananas with cocoa powder and milk, it tastes just like chocolate icecream!)

  22. Jessica says:

    Ohhh! I can’t wait!

  23. Nessa says:

I am SO excited about this! I can’t wait to do it!

    You’re the BEST Cassey!

    1. Nessa says:

      P.S. – I was a total Sailor Mars fangirl 🙂

    2. blogilates says:

  31. C. says:

hehe, i just did the workout 🙂
i had to adjust it to the conditions in my apartment though (had to use all my Sailor Apartment power to come up w/ alternatives, lol), so i subbed high knees for the sprint, mud runs for the stair run and used a chair for the knee thrust 🙂

worked pretty well though! and it was so much fun!
