Layers of strawberry puree, creamy matcha, and sweet milk over ice. This Strawberry Matcha Latte has 10 grams of protein!
This might be the prettiest protein drink to ever exist. I’ve been seeing layered lattes on TikTok and IG and I knew I had to make my own version!
I started with the basic strawberry and milk layers, but I was most excited for the matcha layer! I’ve been drinking Matcha Shake Sculpt + Debloat Protein mixed with almond milk pretty much every day, so I already knew how creamy and delicious this combo is! Perfection for that final layer of this drink.
And OMG look how pretty this Strawberry Matcha Latte looks all layered together!
Should you use extra matcha?
When you’re making the matcha layer, you have the option to add extra matcha powder! This will give your layer a deeper green hue, since there aren’t any artificial colors in the protein powder!
Adding a little matcha will also intensify the matcha flavor. Start with a small amount, because adding too much could make it bitter!
Does this layered latte have caffeine?
If you add extra matcha, yes this will have a little caffeine! A ½ teaspoon serving of matcha powder has around 16-24mg of caffeine.
Layer it up
Start by filling your glass about halfway with ice. Then, I like to start with the strawberry puree! I pour some in the bottom, and come up the sides of the glass a little. Then I add the milk, and finally, the matcha layer.
