Sweet, refreshing, and bubbly: This Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Sangria is summer drink perfection.
Imagine you’re somewhere warm. It’s sunny. The breeze is perfect (enough to keep you cool, without messing up your hair). You’re surrounded by friends and all of your favorite snacks.
What are you drinking? Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Sangria. 🍓
It’s lightly sweet, bubbly, and crisp. And full of juicy strawberries. It’s so pretty that honestly, this drink might be the only table decor you need.
How to make a sangria mocktail
If making cocktails (or mocktails) intimidates you, start with sangria. Once you see how easy this is, you’ll be serving it all summer.
Strawberry pureé
This is probably the most intimidating part of making this sangria recipe, and it’s so easy that my 5-year-old could do it (with supervision, ofc).
Here’s all you do: First, slice the strawberries and cover them in sugar. Then, let them sit for at least 20 minutes. This enhances the sweetness of the strawberries and draws some of the juices out. Finally, put berries in a blender and blend until smooth.
Non-Alcoholic Rosé
My favorite thing about this sangria is that it doesn’t taste like juice. I used Surely non-alcoholic Rosé, which tastes like actual wine, and that really comes through in the final product.
The Rosé is bubbly, which makes this sangria extra refreshing. If you want to sip on the Rosé solo, I love the canned option.
Orange juice
Of course, traditional sangria contains Triple Sec or some kind of orange liqueur that we’re not using. I opted for orange juice to get the citrusy flavor, but you can also add a zero-proof spirit like Ritual’s Gin Alternative if you want your sangria to get the flavor depth of alcohol but without the alcohol.
Personally, I think it’s *chef’s kiss* without, but it all depends on your flavor preference!
Simple syrup (optional)
The simple syrup is optional, if you like your sangria sweeter. You can buy this premade, or make your own! Just heat 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar together on the stove until the sugar is dissolved. Then, remove from heat and cool.
To make strawberry simple syrup: Heat 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1 cup sliced strawberries over medium-high heat until it just starts to boil. Lower the heat and simmer for around 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temp. Strain the strawberries before transferring the mixture to a jar. Refrigerate.

Notes
- I got around 4 servings out of this, but this will depend on your glass sizes! My glasses are 14oz.

Can I use a different wine?
I prefer the Rosé + strawberry flavor combo, but you can make this with red or white non-alcoholic wine (or wine with alcohol, if you prefer).
Surely Brut (which also comes in super convenient cans) is my favorite non-alcoholic white wine! It’s super bubbly just like the Rosé, and on the dry side, which would balance the sweetness of the strawberries perfectly. It also comes in cans
I hope you love this Strawberry Sangria!
