Guys, no matter what happened the past few weeks, months or this past year – I don’t care how badly you ate or how many workouts you skipped. That is THE PAST. It is time to only look forward. Do you promise me that you will commit alongside me in 2016? Do you promise yourself that you will do everything in your power to become the person you want to be?
Say yes, because 16 is my favorite number and I am gonna make sure this is your favorite year yet.
Great…now listen up. Here’s the plan and what I want you to do:

I want you to do this workout calendar like it’s YO JOB!! This month’s hashtag is #MYYEARTOGROW. Sound familiar!? (It’s the title of the 2016 Fit Planner!)
Use that hashtag every time you post your calendar, your sweaty selfie, or anything related to your growth!
Here’s the weekly workout breakdown:
Sunday: Abs & Obliques
Monday: Legs & Cardio
Tuesday: Upper Body
Wednesday: Total Body
Thursday: Abs & Cardio (This is also Fat Burn to Flat Abs day*)
Friday: Rest & Recover
Saturday: Butt

Could anyone guide me please? I was doing pop pilates for beginners from YouTube channel for 3 weeks 6 day in a week. Today I decided to get the calender so I just signed up and get the Cal for Jan 2016. So should I start from the first week or from today’s date? And will I get Fab 2016 Cal after 2 days? And the Last question, my account here is not synchronized with the one in the app. What should I do for it? In the app there was only two options for logging in so I chose FB account but here I signed up with my email address.

I would start from today’s date. And I am still waiting for the February calender to be sent out, pretty sure it will come tommorow or Monday. If you just now started then I think that you should just log out of your app and sign up again but with your email adress.
do you get the same results doing the videos through out the day as you would doing them all at once??

I am new to the community and a friend of mine just linked me to one of your workout videos and now I’m trying to get back into shape. Your videos are awesome and your smile and words of encouragement are extremely motivating. 🙂
I have a question though, or a request maybe– is there any exercise that can replace jumping jacks/crisscross? I live in an apartment, and every time I jump/do the crisscross for the cardio workouts, it feels like the whole apartment is shaking. I am very mindful of my neighbours (even if they aren’t with me, lol) so I am very concerned and have stopped doing anything related to jumping, or any exercise that requires jumping or would likely shake the apartment. I can’t do these exercises outside as well.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for taking time to read this and I hope you’ll be able to help me out.
I feel the same way! My house’s floorboards are pretty old and I feel as though the wood snaps every time I jump.

Just a question- if I want to go to the gym and do the workout above, how do I do it?
Do I bring my laptop and play the video? Or even smartphone? But then the videos have to be on speaker and I feel uncomfortable doing that.
How are you guys doing it?
Just memorize some common moves and there you go simple
When I do blogilates exercises at the gym, I just play the videos via her app and have earphones in as well so it doesn’t have to be on speaker. Or you can play it at a low volume and simply follow along the video.
I just ask for a classroom that isn’t being used and go in there and put my phone on and follow it on the app.
You can also download and print the Printables and take them with you. 🙂

Hi, you can find all the videos on her youtube channel wich is also called blogilates.
There she has a playlist section where she uploads the workout playlist for the current day, the day before and the day after.

what i did was press on the calendar and it popped up on a page by itself. then in the top right corner of the screen there should be an icon with three lines on top of each other. you press that then there should be an option to print it. i hope this helps!!! 🙂 <3 <3

hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone has had any results from monthly challenges they’ve done without changing their eating habits because i don’t do the grocery shopping in the house, and ive tried to eat a little better but sometimes some of the healthy foods i want i don’t have. Just asking because i’ve been doing some of cassey’s workouts (which are great btw and i love them so much) and i wanted to start trying a monthly challenge so i can commit and know which exercises to do each day so i don’t have to think about which ones i want to do, so if anyone has any answers you can comment them. thanks!! 🙂 Love you cassey <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I think it’s pretty great that you can access the videos for free on youtube, likely many other workout programs. So, searching them could be worse! She does have an app where you can pay $0.99 a month to have all of the videos ready for you each day. That way, you don’t have to search for them.

it’s really just meant to be a guide. i would sometimes substitute a video if i’m not able to do it because of the very limited space i have. i also start with a couple days of the beginner calendar and then go to the monthly one when i skip a couple weeks or so to get my body accustomed to it again. but i try to follow it as best as i can. just depends on your schedule, space, level, and how your body feels that day. hope that helps a bit. ?

So for the workout calendar for January 2016, there are videos that you mentioned has to be done 4 times. Im not sure which to follow, so do i do it 4 times or just once according to the plan?
You do the video once and then go along with the calender. If you dont have it then you do the video 4 times.
I’m soooo glad you made Friday the rest day! Friday is the day where I am not very motivated and more likely to beat myself up for not completing a workout playlist, so now I don’t need to beat myself up! Thank you! Most days I can’t even do all videos due to being at school later than usual, so I try (or am trying) to do AT LEAST one video a day, and it’s making me feel better about myself! Last year I stuck with Blogilates despite struggling up until July with my holiday and after thaat I just gave up 🙁 But this year due to a wedding and several other reasons, I’m going to push myself because I know it will be worth it in the end! So it’s nice to rejoin you and the Blogilates community again, here’s to sticking to my guns! And even if I don’t do as well as I intend to, at least I’m trying right? Thanks to this, last year I got further in my weight loss and fitness goals than I had EVER done before, so can you imagine how amazing my results will be if I stick in at this for the whole year this time? I’m so excited to make a difference, and I’m not gonna beat myself up anymore, I can do this!

I live in Sydney, Australia and am finding that the YouTube playlist for the day sometimes isn’t up when I do my workout at 6am but is there in the evening. It’s only a small thing but I would really appreciate it! As would other Australian and New Zealand followers.

I’m having a problem with the Blogilates app. The workouts are not posted after the 7th of this month I can click on a certain date but nothing is there. Had anyone experienced this issue.
I had surgery on my hip over a year ago and have been weak and lazy with my physio and exercises ever since, really didn’t commit to myself or my body during 2015 and felt awful about it. But that is the past, and 2016 is the year to get strong and sexy and Cassey your enthusiasm and encouragement makes me feel like I can do it! Thank you!

Hi Cindy, I started following the calendar this year. I have found that the daily workout sessions go for about 45-50 minutes.
I’m kinda new at this, so is it okay if I skip the January month workout and replace it with the 2.0 beginner workout?
That’s the best way to start and not be discouraged and to learn proper breathing and form.. build up your strength with the beginner’s calendar then join the full work outs in february. It’s worth it believe me. you will see a visible change in 3 weeks.
Please do workouts that you don’t need to get on your knees, because I have a bad knee. Also please do more healthy food recipes like for dinner. P.S love you cassey and thank you for these workouts and everything u do, it has seriously helped me on my fitness/weight loss journey! I have lost 25 kilos so far (which I think is 55 pounds). Again thank you cassey! ?

Jana and Neha, try opening your hips when raising your legs. I mean, when your feet are together going down point your toes, when you get to the lowest point turn your feet outwards (try to do this from the hip and not from the ankle, so your inner thigh points upwards) and raise your legs that way, when you get to the highest point close the feet again to go down. I hope that made some sense. It’s worked for me, my legs used to click too but with this technique they barely do (only when I’m really tired).

i would like to ask u from what age can we start doing blogilates workout ?
Personally, I started when I was eleven and a half, I am now going on fourteen. If you are as young as 11+ i would go for it but dont go so hard on yourself! Especially since you are still growing. If you are ten years old I would advise for you to take working out down a notch, maybe just play outside daily, ride a bike, go for a walk with someone (things like that, there are many options) and ear healthy but you can still have your ‘not- so -healthy’ food . Maybe you could do one or two blogilates videos a day but I wouldnt strive for more, for now. Good luck!
I did the workouts with my 8 year old daughter over Christmas break and she did great. Just make sure to give healthy encouragements and acknowledge how truly hard these exercises can be and they’ll be fine. She even said many of the things we did are things she does in her fitness class at school.
Day 4 for Legs and Cardio killed me today, especially my calves towards the end! I did the beginner’s plan before so now I’m on this. Although I often quit a minute before one workout ends, I still continue to the next one; not giving that up!
I cannot get the app to work on my phone. Don’t worry is nothing you did my phone is stupid its the only window phone I know that cannot get itunes!!! #myyeartogrow smaller! 🙂

If you mean the workout calendar then do the same but on the left hand after you click print and see the preview, change the layout to landscape
When selecting the printing option on your computer, a box with printing options should pop up. One of the boxes should ask for the percentage of coverage on the paper (aka the size). I believe this should apply with every computer program; i have an Apple computer.

I’ve always wanted to be that person who exercises daily and this year I’m determined for that person to be me. I’m a few days late due to family stuff so today was my first day. I really hope I can manage all this by the end. I’ve found myself not managing to have the strength the do even 5 of each of these moves today, and as discouraging as that is I’m going to keep trying. I hope I manage it by the end 🙂

I got the app when I knew I was going to be out of the house for the holidays so I don’t miss a beat. It’s my first time on the regular calendar and it’s tough! But I know i can do it if I try every day and I really have no excuse. The workouts,are always in my hand. lol

So ive been told quite a few times that i first have to lose all my fat first before gaining muscles or else i would be gaining more weight. So basically like run until i lose everything and then start doing workouts. Im not sure what to do now since im pretty obsessed doing Cassey’s calendar. You can always gain muscle, no matter how much fat you have. Gaining muscles can actually burn fat much quicker so you can finally get to see those abs 😉 . As long as you eat healthy and workout you’ll shed alot, no need to loose all your fat. You can do it! And if you want to run and nice warmup in the morning is a good way to start the day, if your a morning person 🙂
I am planning on combining Cassey’s workouts with Shaun T’s T25 workouts. It is going to make for an hour and a half of intense workout craziness! I can’t wait. Plus, I am doing the 21 Day Fix eating plan. 3 Different programs to create the best version of myself.

I had trouble too, until I’ve realized I needed to start pushing myself up with umph~ lol AKA I need to lift up very quickly, not slowly. I go slow once I get my back slightly lifted, but to get up, I really need to propel myself up… if that makes sense?? lol
I turned 40 last year and even before that I gained about 30 pounds in a year, ugh. I was doing yoga 7 days a week, then fell off of that too. I stumbled on a few of these 30 day challenges on Pinterest and had to give them a go, then of course found the site, and started January. After day 2 I am DEFINITELY feeling it all over, and can’t wait to do day 3! I can’t seem to find Turbo Obliques anywhere, any tips? Thanks for the great workouts Cassie!

For the past two years I have wanted to change and see results in my body. Blogilates has helped me tremendously, but now my new year resolution to continue with Blogilates OF COURSE 🙂 But now I wanna go to the gym as well to gain some muscle, any suggestions about feel confident in the gym?

When she says to repeat the video 4 times, does this apply to the January 2016 challenge? I’ve noticed the videos are all taken from previous workouts that might only have you do one video four times through for the day. Seems like a really long time to have each video take half an hour (with the repeats). Just double checking each day is taking everyone about 2 hours. I split mine up throughout the day in addition to morning cardio and afternoon bodybuilding. Any ideas??

It only applies if you’re not doing the calendar! She’s mentioned that in other workouts as well, I was confused as first too. Every day should only be about an hour. Good luck with everything!
I’m wondering the exact same thing. I’m a stay at home mom with a toddler and don’t have that kind of time! I’m hoping the workouts are only meant to be done once for every video. I spent a really long time trying finish everything today.
I think that she says 4 times for people who don’t follow this calendar , anyone can do this video 4 times but if you are following this calendar, do it once , because you have another workouts to do 😉 That’s what I think …and I hope that Cassey answers you ^_^

Hey all! I’m a newbie and have a similar question that seems to have been somewhat answered already. Today I did the snow bunny work out 4 times, and another one of the video that said to do it 4 times. I feel like I’ve been working out all day!! Can someone please tell me that I did it wrong!! I was getting a little frustrated at how long it was taking me to get through all the videos, so I really hope this isn’t right. One time through all videos listed even though some of them say to repeat several times????! Thanks!!

I have been doing Blogilates faithfully for about 7 months, and have become so much stronger! This year I want to really focus on my eating (and drinking!) to finally make this the year I reach my fitness goals.
I have seen the type of hard work it takes to go from no muscle to strong and fit, so I know that I will have to work equally hard to eat clean and discipline myself. I’m starting today with the 90 day challenge in Cassey’s meal plan section.

But I don’t know if doing a break between the cardio video and the other part extenuate the results ? I prefer doing the cardio video fasting and then eating my breakfast before doing the other workout part, so I don’t know if it’s a good thing to do…

yea, if you are using your phone then just press and hold and then click “save image” , if you are on a computer idk how to help you cause I used my phone, sorry! I hope I could help!
I usually click on the calendar image and it opens up in another tab. After that I can right click the bigger image and download as a jpeg or pdf file (an alternative method for this step would be to go the File menu and press “save as”/”export” option). I hope this helps. 🙂 Happy New Year!
I love Cassey’s videos because it’s the only workout form (other than handball what I play in the school) what I’ve actually followed for more than 2 days. Okay, I havent worked out for a month, but I start is again today. 😀
On the other hand, I think it’s not fair to say that the application is free, when you have to pay for actually use it. I mean you can barely use it, and although I love her workouts, I’m not willing to pay because I’m 18 years old and ain’t got money for this… 🙁
you can just download/print th workout and then search the video from the app or YouTube tho lol but ya I totally feel ya on the no moneys lol but it’s really not much (99 cents a month psht) and it motivates you to keep doing it since you had to pay lol!

I had a little baby boy one month ago today, and am excited to start this year off getting healthy and confident! I was overweight before I had my little guy and after my pregnancy feel like I can not stand it any longer! Here is to improving day by day!
Isn’t it dangerous to target the same workout area for 30 days in a row, without resting?
Not when you are doing so few moves each day and slowly building it up. If you were to intensely work the same area each day then it could cause some muscle issues because the muscles won’t have enough time to properly repair themselves.
Its not 30 days in a row without resting. The calendar says rest days are on Fridays. Also the days you do abs and arms workouts you are giving your lower body a rest and vice versa so you won’t over work your body 🙂

I just looked up the videos for tomorrow and saw that the “I really like you Squat challenge” isn’t available here because it contains specific music. What should I do now? Just skip the exercise or maybe could someone tell me what to do?

Well, this video is basically 3:20 minutes of squat. The first 20 secs she does the basic squat, up and down. The next 20 secs she continues with the squat, but she doesn’t not go entirely stand, she goes up and down with the knees kind of bend. So she goes for the pile squats but in her tip toes in for more 20 secs. Continues with pile squats position doing up and down with her feet (up in tip toes raising the heels, so down with the heels) for 20 secs. So 20 secs with squats again, but she keeps the knees bend, do not go stand, and up down just half way. 20 more secs with squats, keeping knees bend, but now she goes lower, up and down just half way, but now lower. Goes pile squats again: 20 secs normal pile squats, 20 secs in tip toes pile squats. After that 20 secs doing squats with the knees and heels together and then more 20 secs with the arms up. I hope you understand the explanation attempt. And sorry for english mistakes.

lol it just happened to be that way, Friday is always Rest Day every month. Unless you switch it around like I do. Saturday’s are my busy days running around town and stuff.. so I do Saturday’s workout on Friday, making Saturday my rest day.

I love the colourful calendars, but my b/w printer does not. The dark colours behind the font makes it hard to read. Anyone help a girl out with this?
Find somewhere with a coloured printer to print it off. I don’t even print mine, I have it set as my laptops background/wallpaper. As the says go on, I cross off the day in Photoshop. Any Paint-like program would work as well. Then I reload the wallpaper, once the day is crossed off. That way I have the days crossed off as they go by. If I skip a day, I cross it off with a different color line. Holds me accountable lol
My printer doesn’t print it well either, so I just keep it open all the time as it’s very own tab in firefox.
Chances are you have a print in grayscale setting, if you’re not using that already I’d give it a shot. I just tested mine out and it looks fine to me.
I am not to thrilled about one being iphone only, I hate doing videos on my phone because I can not see them so I avoid it like a plague.
If you have an HDMI cable I hook it up to TV from my laptop and I do my workouts in the living room
Not that anyone cares lol but for my piece of mind I just want to say that my issue is NOT paying, my issue is paying to watch videos on my iPhone. If this app was made for tablets, that would be a big help. Bigger screen and all. Until then I’m just skipping the video (unfortunately because it looks fun!), and doing the other 5 videos for the day.
I have a 6Plus and if it’s out of arms reach, I can barely see it. Not to mention how likely it is that your phone may get broken in the process and I do NOT have the money for a $1,000 replacement phone.
I agree so much with you! I can’t do the work outs while looking at my phone it’s way too small, I even use my computer because the screen is bigger. If I had a HDMI cable I would put it right on my tv even. What’s more is when I workout, I want to get away from my electronic devices, even though I need them to watch the videos. It’s a break time to care of myself.
So I hope someday the app will also be available for Ipads and tablets so we can also enjoy the exclusive videos! Because it does look like fun ;;

When I try doing the double D’s, my hips are cracking like crazy so it’s a really uncomfortable move for me.
mine do the same thing and January is my 5th month doing the calendars. I think its a flexibility issue, I have to commit to do more stretching in my legs. I also can’t keep my legs straight while doing a lot of the leg stuff.
I have the same problem, but I found that circling the other direction seems to help (legs down together and then circle out as you lift your legs up, rather than circling out and down). Its probably not working the muscles in exactly the same way, but it’s better than nothing and doesn’t make me feel like my hips are going to unhinge 😛

I am so excited. And glad I found you Cassey. Your video’s are awesome. Inspirational and motivational. I work out at the gym and walk a lot. But these are perfect at home. I have to admit I’m addicted to them. Lol. I think I probably over due it. If there is such a thing. But I’m a very determined person. I was always thin and in shape until I got on the depo shot (birth control) and then on several different antidepressants because of weight gain which added onto it. I’ve lost half of it. My normal weight is between 110-120 i had weighed 180 after all the meds. Then lost 20 pounds from your videos, gym, walking etc. But I know I do need to eat better also. I live in Florida idk how much price differences are elsewhere but Iknow here that produce is the most expensive 🙁 that’s not even the bad part. But our grocery stores here it’s like bad before you even buy it. And then if it isn’t it’s like it goes bad overnight. Really frustrating cause I love fruits and veggies. And I can live off of salad. Lol but anyway I’m going to just have to take a lot of trips to the store here. Our Walmart is the worst. Ughhh haven’t got around to all your recipe videos bit I am going to look tomorrow. Thanks for your inspiration. ~CaitLyn

Don’t have a cell phone of any kind. Will have to buy one soon, unfortunately, because of my teen kid (need to keep tracks)….. Still doesn’t seem a workable option for a workout… Can always replace the app one for a good old you tube one…..

I’ve lost 45 lbs with her workouts and a healthy diet, so yes. 🙂 But I do the calendar and some additional videos.
If you don’t want to pay for anything, simply don’t. No one is forcing you to pay, she still has a lot of other free stuff for us to use, don’t talk like you can’t workout without the stuff you have to pay for. If you’re so unwilling to pay, find her free stuff (which she does have a lot btw) and just friggin’ move on and stop making it sound like a huge deal that she’s charging for something.

DRINK WATER!!!! That is the most important. Also, have a small healthy snack before you workout. Don’t push yourself too hard. If you start feeling sick, stop and try again later

Why do we need to pay to watch the videos?
I mean, i thought that blogilates would be for free since she earns money from all the likes and subscribers she gets on youtube.
plus her online store. I’m getting nervous that things seem to be disappearing from going up on youtube. Before you know it new videos will only be in the app. I don’t mind paying, but I refuse to do so until I can view it on something larger than my phone’s screen. Tablet even, would be better. I don’t want to work out with my phone, the odds of it getting broken (dropped, stepped on, tripped over ect) are far too high.

It frustrates me that these things are on the app because not everyone can pay for it. It may only be 99cents or whatever, but she has younger viewers (like me) who can’t pay to watch the videos. If I wanted to pay to work out I’d get a gym membership or something. It’s stupid.

Guys I don’t know it you realise but this is her actual job. Blogilates is her job. She does live classes at 24h fitness but apart from that just YouTube, and she works damn hard at it! She puts SO much effort work and money, like have you SEEN the camera quality and editing lately? It’s amazing! And for the most of it it’s free! And if 99 cents is the only cost, wow! Most other Pilates did classes cost tale art $30! If you don’t want to pay for it fine, just replace it with another workout but don’t bag out Cassie for it. She is pretty much giving you free videos, though, so be grateful and respectful! Anyway have a great 2016, xxx
Oh I’m totally willing to pay! I just don’t want to pay to watch the videos on a tiny iPhone screen.. it’s small but there is also a high risk of getting broken during a workout. I’d be totally down for paying, that’s not my personal issue lol
I completely agree with all this why do we have to pay to watch stuff that has been previously free on YouTube? I may not be young like Amelia but I can’t afford to be paying to watch exercise videos. I agree if I wanted to pay I would go to a gym. The whole reason I have enjoyed this site is it is a way for me to exercise for free at home and it’s not like I don’t buy stuff from her site. Plus also I am not one of the lucky ones who can afford a phone AND a tablet. My phone is too small to watch the workouts on. Hope that it doesn’t permanently go to pay through app. She will loose followers that way
Well you can watch the videos for free on Youtube. You’ll have to look for them but they’re all there except the Fat Burn to Flat Abs video. That’s what I do every month.

Agree. Just switch Fat Burn to Flat Abs with some other HIIT video for abs, like Flat Belly Fat Burner of Flat Stomach Fat Melter.

Now, may I say, besides the fact that there had been some changes in my body and even in my confidence, I am proud of myself when I see I can do things that I couldn’t in the past. You made me push myself to the limit and go beyond it. Thank you!
I grow up stronger and wiser because of you. As a teenager, I sometimes had those moments when other’s opinions seem to be important (regarding my body), but now I am aware that a good person, who wants to help you discover your potential, wouldn’t say nasty things. I, myself, try to help my friends understand it now.

Yup, just search them in YouTube. There is one video every month locked behind a pay wall in the app but you don’t need it. Also if you break the pay wall the collates it all for you.
You don’t need to search them, on the blogilates channel she makes daily playlists with all of that days videos.

I haven’t done an actual workout in months, but I’m determined to do more in 2016! Unfortunately, due to my age, I’m not able to do the App workout, but I will find another video to replace it! I’m not backing out of this one. I’m also going to make a Pilates Instagram and do a photo everyday after the workout so I can see my own progress. Exciting times!

I’m so ready for this Cassey! I’ve been doing blogilates for the past 6 months and I’ve never felt stronger, healthier, and happier. I’m excited to start the new year with you and to continue see my progress. My biggest hurdle is the food, and although I’m more conscious of what I put in my body, my support system at home (husband and preteen daughter) tempts me almost daily with food. It’s very hard, but I will continue to grow in 2016 and resist those temptations along with sticking to the calendar…that’s the easy and fun part.

Does the Blogilates Calendar work on iPad3? I’m not paying to watch a video on a tiny iPhone screen lol sorry. Plus I’m in Canada so the price is twice as high.
The app I mean, does that work on iPad3? Thinking about doing the videos through the app on my iPad3 if the videos work well on it.
Um… Unfortunately it is specific phone app. But what I do is go into the App Store on my iPad and search Blogilates. Nothing will come up but there is a tap in the top left hand courier that says ‘display iPad only apps’ or something like that. If you change it to include phone apps you can download it’s. When you open the app the screen will size it for max res but in the bottom right corner there is a 1X press that and it will stretch it to fit your screen. While this does effect in app graphics it has no effect on the videos or uploaded photos so it still works fine. 🙂

Pumped. . .. I have been focused on journa’ling and Monday night i wrote in my Journal how excited I am, so far in 2015 I am down 44lbs . .. 2016 is going to be about being true to myself, hard work and Large Payoffs!!
