How Good it Feels to Get Your Mojo Back

How Good it Feels to Get Your Mojo Back

Oh man guys, after that one post a few days ago on Rediscovering your Motivation, I’ve been soooo on point with my diet and exercise it’s like a full 180 degree turn! Lemme tell you, it is all in your head. You tell yourself how you’re gonna act and be, and you’ll do it as long as your will is strong and your heart and mind are invested.

The past few days I have been working out super duper hard. Weights, plyo’s, and extra cardio to burn off fat. It hasn’t been easy. There are plenty of times when I think to myself,

“Why why why am I doing this??!!!”

“It hurts so much!!!”

“Maybe I’ll just eat less.”

Ha. But you know what I do? I bite my tongue, I make weird squirmy faces, I breathe hard, I moan/grunt (OK I don’t think that’s the right word…but it’s kinda the sound Serena Williams makes when she hits the tennis ball? Kinda like “ehhh!!” or “uhhh!!” but very high pitched and staccato-sounding. Does anyone know what I am talking about!?), I even talk to myself. I literally say  out loud, ” C’mon Cassey, you’ve got this.” or “5 more, just 5 more!”

And you know what REALLY makes me keep going when times are tough? I remind myself of the end goal. I remind myself why I started. I see my vision board when I close my eyes. I tell myself to just take it a moment at a time. And that it’s worth it. Because I am worth it.

So I suffer through the pain. But I know that with each rep, I am getting stronger. And stronger. And STRONGER. If I can still go, I go. There’s no wimping out. There’s no half-a**ing anything. There’s no cheating. This way, you get the results you want to see. Hard work does not go unnoticed.

I can see changes in my body already after these past few days. Can you believe it? I attribute it to the crazy workouts and my diet which I have cleaned up even more than usual <– (that’s the meal plan from the 90 day challenge). This week, I have taken out ALL condiments (‘cept for lemon juice) from my meals as to not get so much sodium and sugar into my diet. Too much sodium will cause you to retain water and look puffy. Sugar of course, if not used for energy immediately will turn to fat.

I am only doing this no condiments thing until next Tuesday because I have a YouTube shoot in LA on Wed and Thurs that I am preparing for. Then on Monday the 26th, I am attending the Shorty Awards in NYC! Thank you guys for helping me get into the Top 6 🙂 I’ll find out there if we get the award for Social Fitness or not. I hope so! I mean, Blogilates is on so many social sites it’s kinda ridic. I can’t sleep it’s so ridic. Are you already following me on all of these social networks?

Hi Cassey! <3 I hope you see this and reply back if you have time. I really feel like giving up.. I'm doing 30 min cardio and 30-40 min worth of strength from your videos everyday. it's really fun! but I don't see results and I hate to admit, I'm an inpatient person. I'm trying to take inches off my thighs and overal shrink the size of my butt. I still want them to point up and be "big" but I don't like how my thighs look big like thunder thighs and how my butt looks BIG (in the bad way) when I wear jeans. is it possible to take inches off my thighs? I'm doing your long lean leg workout will that help? I want those thighs that doesn't touch each other. my ideal goal is about slim and lean 🙁 thanks!

Cassey, I just started following your blog, but I’ve been a fan of your youtube channel for a while now. I really look up to your positive attitude! I just recently began actively making small changes in my life and your advice has really helped me along the way 🙂 I just wanted to share my vision board with you!

That’s awesome to hear! No condiments sounds sooo hard, but then again I am a little addicted to salt ever since I found out my blood pressure was rock bottom from low sodium consumption. Make sure you’re getting what you need for your body to still function correctly! Low blood pressure wooziness is THE WORST (esp when you need your body to be working right).

Hey Cassey! Great to hear that you made into the top 6, good luck at the Shorty Awards – you deserve it, girl!

I am curious about the 90 day challenge meal plan as I am currently following it – I couldn’t find any posts on your blog or Tumblr about it besides the meal plan itself and a few other posts at the start. I was curious to hear how you and others felt during the plan and what peoples results were. Where are all the posts and tumblrs?

I just want to know if you will ever be coming to Miami, Florida and give an intense boot camp?

  6. It totally made my day to get online, check your blog (my evening routine) and see my inspiration poster in your post!! I hung it up in my apartment last night.

I’m so glad you had the “rediscovering your motivation” post too – I already feel so much healthier than I did a week ago, and I am back on track. When I’m in one of those moments where I am about to give up, I think, “What would Cassey do?” You are such an inspiration to me 🙂 And SO GLAD you are in the top 6! Get it girl!!

    Hey Cassey!
When I think WHY I do this, and when I don’t want to sport or eat healthy anymore, I go to your site because your blogs remind me off why I do this (eat healthy and sport more).
    Thank you for that!
(Really sorry for my bed English 🙂 )
