The Best Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Mug Cake

A decadent, chocolatey protein mug cake that you can make in the microwave, in less than two minutes!

Mug cake is one of my favorite desserts. I mean, a cute mini cake that is also ready in like one minute and doesn’t get any other dishes dirty?! The best.

You can make literally any flavor – I’ve tried sooo many! And now I have one for the chocolate peanut butter lovers out there.

As you probably know, I am not a chocolate person. But I also fully recognize that PB+chocolate is one of the most loved flavor combos.

And so… I give you the most decadent, chocolatey, peanut buttery personal cake that you can make in a microwave.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Mug Cake

Aside from being ready in under 5 minutes, this mug cake is filled with ingredients that won’t make you feel bleh. It’s gluten-free and uses monk fruit in place of sugar (it’s a 1:1 swap though so use whichever you prefer/fits your goals!).

And omg the PROTEIN! One cake has 22 grams! I used Sculpt & Debloat Protein Powder – Chocolate Shake for this recipe, but you could totally swap with Sweet Cream and add cocoa powder OR forgo chocolate altogether like me and use white chocolate or caramel chips as mix-in. Seriously, the possibilities are endless.

Oh and because my powder is vegan, it bakes really well in recipes that don’t have other flours in them. It adds just the right density, creating the perfect texture.
