OOooOOoOoO!!!! And I invented something new today! Look what I had for dinner:
It’s a chicken salad handroll! ‘Cept my chicken salad is made from shredded chicken breast and plain nonfat greek yogurt!!! It tasted good! Yes, really! I can imagine you can also mix your chicken with avocado…MMMmmMmm. I added romaine lettuce and bell pepper strips then rolled it up in a nori sheet. It was soooooo quick and so clean and tasty. What a fab school or work lunch idea!!! If you try it tweet me pics! I wanna see what you put inside.
Okie dokie…gotta sleep because I have to teach in some hours! Ahhh, me and the sleep sched. Ridic-sawwwwwceeee.

I bought my Halloween Costume today!!! I couldn’t decide on what I wanted to be so I’m gonna be sriracha AND Sailor Moon! I got the wig, boots, and outfit complete with Tiara and gloves! I’m super excited!!! Thanks to one of our POPsters on facebook for linking me to this Sriracha dress on etsy. It is $26 but whatever, I must have it!!! Now I need to make a green cap hat. Anyone have any ideas on how I can do that?
What are you gonna be for Halloween?! Tell me, I wanna know!!!!

For the hat: get a green beret and a party hat. Paint the party hat the same shade of green as the beret. Hot glue together and presto! Cap hat! I’m going as Bellatrix Lestrange this year 🙂
Hi Casey! I love your workouts! But I have a question…I just found out I am pregnant and am wondering if all your workouts (except ab workouts on my back after the first trimester) are safe to do in pregnancy. Also will check with my on but just wondering if you had had similar questions before and what your advice might be. Thanks!

This is kind of not related to the topic, but I am curious, do you know any healthy, low calorie granola recipe? I’ve been searching all over but every recipe calls for oil, butter or sugar, or all! I LOVE LOVE LOVE granola, but all the store bought granola are very unhealthy and quite expensive calorie wise.

I’m making myself a peacock costume!! 🙂 I know a peacock is the male version, but they’re just so darn pretty! I’ll be wearing it while I run the Rock n Roll Los Angeles half on the 28th, so it’s not all that extravagant…but I’m loving it so far! I’ll be sure to post pictures to my instagram (ddeee_) if you wanna see the finished product!

I’m torn between being a fairy (dress needs some alterations) and being Karen from Cake’s song “Short Skirt/Long Jacket” – obviously a short skirt and a long jacket, a name tag with Kitty crossed out and Karen written underneath, borrowing a friend’s machete and wrapping some red tape on it. My friends are trivia geeks, I want to see who guesses it first. And all of this is only if we have a party to go to. The usual couple just had a baby 🙂

Cassey, do you think you could get some XS or XXS too? I’m trying to bulk up because I’m 5 pounds away from being below the 5th percentile for my height and age in weight, and I can’t find any clothes that truly fit. Thanks so much for these workouts! I LOVE them and try to be as diligent as possible.

I know you always state that gaining weight is “eating more than you burn” and I always cringe a little inside when I see this statement because it really isn’t true… I hope you like this link and the whole blog, it has saved my life and changed literally everything I thought I knew about nutrition! It took me months of actually making myself believe this (I’m half way through med school so this kind of statements don’t go inside my brain easily), but the more you research it, the more you’ll see how wrong we all are about what we actually consider healthy! And since I love you and I love your blog and have a huge respect for what you do, I thought I’d share this – I know you sometimes post how much you’re really good with your exercises but could never really get the nutrition just right (exactly what happened to me for many years) so maybe this is it:)

I’ve never commented before, but first I wanted to say I love your videos. I’ve been doing them on and off for about 6 months, but have only gotten serious about working out in the past few weeks. They’re great, what a workout! And my toddler enjoys them too. 🙂
I also wanted to let you know the images on your oGorgeous, and some of the images in your blog aren’t displaying correctly in either Chromium or Firefox on a linux operating system. I’m not sure about other browsers or operating systems. When I click on the image I get a javascript “Your request could not be loaded please retry” status popup.
I don’t generally do store type websites, but you can let me know if you need a hand in any web development ventures.
Is it a problem with your computer? Everything’s showing up fine for me (here and on oGorgeous).
Could be a problem with my operating system. Linux isn’t always so great with the javascript.
I’ll see if I can figure it out.
