The holidays are here, and idk about you, but I feel like I am racing to the finish for my gift shopping. Good news – food is always a great gift, especially if you have a foodie in your life.
But maybe gifting the same “classic” food items feels a little…boring? I feel that. As a self-proclaimed foodie myself, I’ve put a lot of time and effort into finding the best foodie gifts that your friend, family, coworker, or anyone will rave about.
Be warned though, you’ll be setting the bar HIGH for years to come.
Here are my picks for the best gifts for foodies
1.
Granola Butter
Oat Haus
Oat Haus Granola Butter is the world’s first oat-based spread. Think peanut butter but better, AND allergen-free. Some of the GB flavor options include Cookie Dough, Birthday Cake, Brownie Batter, and Coffee. You can enjoy them all in a lot of ways but I have to be honest – I always end up eating it straight out of the jar, with a spoon. Go ahead and gift a 3-pack with some variety, because the foodie receiving this gift is going to be obsessed.
2.
Coffee Advent Calendar
Bean Box
Gifting this will give your loved one 12 days of gifts, amazing coffee, and make them feel a little like a kid again. They’ll look forward to every morning, and maybe even discover a new favorite brew.
3.
Sculpt Protein Cookbook
When Cassey formulated her Sculpt & Debloat Protein Powder, she wanted something she could cook with. This cookbook not only proves that she found a way to do it, but broadens the horizon for protein powder.
Sculpt is a protein cookbook with over 60 mouth-watering recipes (I can vouch for this because I helped test all of them!). There are snacks, breakfasts, a few savory recipes, and of course beverages.
4.
Charcuterie Gift Box
Murray Cheese
It’s a no brainer that the best gifts for foodies are going to involve food. But make it a box of GOOD snacks, or better yet – a box of charcuterie faves?! You win best gift this year for sure. And maybe…they’ll share the goods with you.
5.
Food Lover Socks
Happy Socks
Foodies love anything food-themed, and these food socks will make them smile and keep their feet warm this winter! They also make a great conversation piece.
6.
Hayes Cereal Bowls
Anthropologie
We found the perfect bowl, and you get to take credit when you gift it this year! The Hayes Cereal Bowl is big but not awkwardly big, and the perfect shape for stirring without making a mess or curling up on the couch to binge holiday movies. Oh, and this set of 4 looks beautiful stacked on open shelving.
7.
Barbecue Seasoning
Spice Lab
This is for the friend who bought a smoker (or a Traeger – same scenario) and instantly made that their entire personality. They’re looking for ways to smoke any kind of food and they’re now the default host for summer cookouts. Gift them this Barbecue Seasoning Collection by Spice Lab, and thank me later.
8.
Strawberry Laptop Sleeve
Baggu
If you have a foodie friend who works remotely, travels, or just really appreciates cute office accessories, this Baggu puffy laptop sleeve is the gift this year. How cute are those strawberries?!
9.
S'mores Roaster
Chef’n
No longer will the foodie in your life settle for a microwave s’more when the craving strikes. This tabletop s’more roaster is safe for indoor or outdoor use, melts the chocolate while you roast your ‘mallow, and comes with 4 metal roasting sticks.
10.
Sweet & Spicy Sauces
Bushwick Kitchen
Bushwick Kitchen is known for their flavor-packed small batch sauces, like their Gochujang Sriracha. In the Sweet & Spicy Gift Sets, you can go all spicy with this staple and other sriracha variations, or opt for their spicy honeys. If your foodie is more of a “sweetie,” get the Maple Gift Set.
11.
"Not Fried Chicken" Ice Cream
Life Raft
Ice cream that looks like fried chicken… I really don’t think I need to say more. I might gift this to myself. I should at least mention that Goldbelly makes it possible to send this gift for foodies basically anywhere.
12.
No-Recipe Recipes
New York Times
For the friend who loves food but isn’t that great at cooking. This bestselling cookbook contains 100 delicious and easy to follow recipes – with pictures (so important!).
13.
Pasta Making Class
Cozymeal
For the foodie who enjoys cooking. No matter their skill level, a pasta making course is sure to teach them something valuable while having fun. Bonus gift: ready-to-bake bread to serve on the side of their finished pasta dish.
14.
Non Alcoholic Gin Kit
Monday
For the sober curious foodie (or the host who loves to serve a mocktail option). I recently tried several non-alcoholic brands, and Monday was one of my faves. For starters, the packaging is stunning. The drinks are tasty too and I love that they offer kits and mocktail recipes.
15.
Culinary Exploration
eat2explore
For the foodie who loves to travel – now they can experience culinary adventures from their own kitchen! Gift a single “country,” or a 3+ month subscription. I love that eat2explore has options for vegan and gluten-free cooks too.
And that concludes the best gifts for foodies!
Is your stomach growling yet? SAME.
