Summer is so great because you can do everything outside. ESPECIALLY work out. I love utilizing the jungle gyms at the nearby parks because that’s how kids stay fit. Most of them don’t have to worry about their weight because they are always running around. Recess means activity. Not hanging out and talking. I like. Let’s take it back in time.
Here’s my Saturday afternoon NOT SO WALK IN THE PARK Workout:
1. Jump rope – 1 min
2. 5 pull ups on monkey bars (these don’t have to be one right after the other)
3. Bench top hops (see my video for examples) – 1 min
4. Tricep dips – 1 min
5. Bench hop-overs – 1 min
6. Pushups – 1 min
7. 1 lap around baseball field
Repeat a total of 4x.
This workout should take about 45 min- 1 hr and should burn anywhere between 300-500 calories based on how intensely/quickly you do it.
