Unlike most of our canine companions, my favorite part of 4th of July is the FIREWORKS!!! What about you?! As a kid, I vividly remember being absolutely mesmerized as the sky lit up around us. I used to see all the neighborhood kids with boxes of fireworks and secretly wished I join in on the fun! Of course, my mom gave me the usual lecture about not blowing (up) money on such silliness. And of course, as an adult, I HAD to rebel and do everything I didn't get to as a kid... and lo and behold, she was right... #blogicomics
